"Atty. Villamor?" The Attorney from the other deck called me.
"Yes?" I said casually.
I am at our firm today. As usual, laging nakakapagod at nakakastress dahil lagi na Lang akong may client na nagrereklamo kase ayokong iaccept yung mga offer nila Kasi masyadong complicated Yung sitwasyon at napakarami ko ng naaccept na cases Kaya di pa ko makatanggap ng clients.
"I'm asking you if you will accept the case of Mr. Gonzales" Atty. Del Fuego said with embarrassment with her face.
"I don't know"I said. Pagod na pagod ako at lutang."Should I?"
"You should coz pag naipanalo mo 'tong case na 'to malaki kikitain mo not just that malaking improvement sa firm natin pag naipanalo mo Kaya YOU SHOULD." Our Head Lawyer said.
"Okay fine, Determinado Naman ako eh." Ang daming nakaasa sakin dahil ako Ang pinakamaraming naipanalo na kaso dito sa firm namin so far.
Natutulala ako kase yung bestfriend ko which is an attorney too is in the hospital Kasi nabangga siya ng isang car while crossing the road. I'm trying to figure out kung may CCTV footage sa spot na nasagasaan si Steph.
Pumunta ako sa Hospital Kung nasaan si Steph at ng makita Kong nagpapahinga siya pumunta muna akong labas at sumandal sa pinto habang nagiintay ng call galing sa mga investigators, napapikit na lang ako at tumingala sa sobrang stress sa work. Napatalon ako ng biglang may nagsalita.
"Excuse me."Sabi ni Ken,I mean Doc. Viazon which is,Ex ko.
He stared at me for a minute naka pang doctor siya na outfit at nakaglasses may binabasa, pumunta ako sa gilid ng pinto at pumasok siya. Di ko alam na siya pala Ang doctor ng bestfriend ko, nurses Lang kase Ang nakikita ko kapag pumupunta ako dito. Sumunod naman ako sa loob.
"Oh gising ka na." I said seriously.
Nagpabalik-balik ang tingin niya sakin at kay Ken, nagtataka ang mukha.
"Don't get the wrong idea." I said while looking away, getting awkward.
"Oh,Okay." She smirked
"Hoy ikaw na babae ka tumahimik ka na lang kase injured ka baka gusto mo pang dagdagan."I said sarcastically, I rolled my eyes
"Don't pressure the patient." Ken said while reading on the papers above his arm.
"I am not pressuring her." Sagot ko sakanya habang madiing binibigkas Ang mga sinasabi ko. I didn't look at him.
"So, How are you now, Are you feeling well? You can discharge next week from now and just take your medications until your bone tissues grow up and remember don't get stressed bawal muna ang stress unless magaling ka na, that's all." Mahabang Sabi niya na pinakinggan ko Naman.
"I'm fine, Doc, tatandaan ko lahat yan" Sabi ni Steph habang mapangasar Ang tingin sakin.
"Bye, I'll go na." Maikling Sabi ni Ken habang palabas ng pinto.
Wow! Parang Hindi Niya naalala Ang past Niya ahh, Di na halata sa kanya Yung sakit ng nakaraan. Parang nakalimutan Niya na lahat samantalang ako, eto nagdudusa pa, after almost 5 years na di kami nagkita eto mukhang kuntento Naman na siya sa buhay niya.
Hindi Madaling Kalimutan Ang isang Relasyon na Umabot ng 4 straight years na magkasama kami, ganun ganon na Lang para sakanya yon?
