Don't know why my heart flutters everytime I see you,
Goosebumps take the lead, making me feel something new;
Blood hurriedly rush up to my cheeks,
My mind goes blank, and my heart skips
Thousands of beats, I've no account of,
Neither do I intend to;
Don't know whether you have any clue-
Often I forget to breathe,
When you are with me;
Then you smile, looking at the sky,
Making me yearn to leave all the strain behind,
And suddenly I want to live again
With a new hope, I want to dream,
Counting on your enigmatic scheme.
Don't know why each cell in my body craves for you
To touch you like no one can do;
My mind chides, says, "It's forbidden!"
Yet my heart aches for something uncertain.
Lose all the control over my sanity,
When you are around me,
And happen to stare at you blithely!
Your laugh rings in my ears, whenever I try to sleep;
It's the sweetest sound, where I find no slit.
I want you to pat my head, look me in the eyes,
'Cause I know, your heart can't lie.
Tell me, is that so much to ask?
Trust me, we couldn't be happier than that;
Gentle, warm and pure at heart!
