(Near the sea of blood)

(There is a bridge, and a large horde of undead and cyber Lin Kuei is crossing it)

Hanzo: Those warriors must be headed for Kronika's keep

Sub Zero: Agreed. But why not use Kharon's fleet? The bridge clearly taxes her power

Hanzo: The fleet's bound to Kharon. It sails only at his command. That it's still moored suggests that he won't help Kronika

Sub Zero: In which case, he may help us

Smoke: Should we go find him?

Tundra: Yes. And we must hurry

Sub Zero: I like the way I think

(The team moves towards Kharon's house)

(Cetrion is using her power at the gate the create a sort of beacon, making the bridge appear)

Hanzo: It looks like Kharon is home, perhaps hosting some unwelcome guests. Return to earth realm. Tell the others that we found him. We'll deploy as soon as I return

Sub Zero: Are you certain that Kharon will aid us?

Hanzo: No. But he's our best chance

(Hanzo, Tundra, and Smoke sneak towards Kharon's house to find him trapped in D'vorah's goo)

D'vorah: You should have aided Kronika, Kharon. Now you must suffer

(D'vorah sends a swarm of bugs onto Kharon's face)

Kharon: I am immortal, D'vorah. You cannot kill me

D'vorah: This one needs only to render you unfit to ferry Kronika's enemies

(D'vorah screams as a rope spear hits her in the back)

Hanzo: GET OVER HERE!

(Hanzo throws D'vorah out of Kharon's house and onto the ground below)

(Tundra freezes the bugs on Kharon to death, and uses an ice dagger to work on cutting Kharon free from D'vorah's goo)

Hanzo: First Shinnok, now Kronika. You fight for lost causes

D'vorah: This one ensures the hive's survival. You will not save the Shirai Ryu

(Hanzo fights D'vorah. Any bugs D'vorah sends at Hanzo get burned by his fire. D'vorah lacks competence as a fighter, so Hanzo is able to defeat her)

Hanzo: The Shirai Ryu will not fall

(Scorpion punches Hanzo in the face)

Smoke: Scorpion

Scorpion: The nether realm will burn your souls

(Scorpion fights Smoke. Smoke puts up a good fight, but Scorpion gets lucky because of advice from Kronika and defeats him)

Scorpion: You are weak, Smoke

(Hanzo teleport kicks Scorpion)

Scorpion: Your clan of imposters will fall

Hanzo: I've restored the Shirai Ryu. Built a clan that's never been stronger

Scorpion: On a foundation of pretenders and outsiders! Kronika told me

(Scorpion and Hanzo draw their swords and sword fight)

(Scorpion teleports behind Hanzo and throws his rope spear)
