(Sonya and Jonathan wake up in battle cages)

(Sonya looks at her wrists and sees that her sonic cannons are gone)
Kano: Yeah, you won't be needing that stuff, love. One thing that we Black Dragon know, there's no fun in a fair fight
Tremor: Bring him in!
(Kabal walks into the cage)
Kabal: So Sonya's the skank who burns me?
Old Kano: She more than burns you, Kabal. She goes black ops on your arse. Shocks, knives, the bloody works. Patched you back together myself. Well, most of you
(Kabal gets an angered expression on his face)
Kabal: She's dead
Kano: Mrs law-and-order really does that to him?
Old Kano: Nah. It was that Kintaro thing. But now he's motivated
Tremor: Playing dirty huh? I like it
Kabal: Hope you're ready for some pre-emptive vengeance
Sonya: What the hell are you talking about, Kabal?
Kabal: You, torturing me to get dirt on the Black Dragon
(Sonya fights Kabal. Kabal is powerful, but his blind rage costs him the fight)
Sonya: Don't believe every rumor that you hear. I'm done entertaining you clowns! Get in here you cowards!
Old Kano: Tempting, love. But we think that our next contender is a beaut
(A couple of mercenaries drag Jonathan into Sonya's battle cage)
Sonya: I won't fight him!
Old Kano: You'll damn sure fight, or you'll both die
Sonya: Cut the act! You'll kill us whether we fight or not!
Old Kano: Ah, you caught me, love. But put on a good show, eh? It'll be less painful
Jonathan: C'mon. You've been dying to hit me all day. Here's your chance
Sonya: And give them the satisfaction of watching us fight? Like hell
Jonathan: You said it, they'll kill us whether we fight or not. Fighting buys us time to find a way out, or for our friends to rescue us. So quit being a diva, and hit me!
(Sonya punches Jonathan in the face)
(Tremor, Erron Black, Kano, and Old Kano laugh)
(Sonya punches Jonathan a couple more times)
Sonya: Take a dive
Jonathan: No way. These people know a dive when they see one
(Sonya and Jonathan are about to fight, but the wall blows open)
(Cassie runs through firing her dual pistols, Specter firing his LMG, Stryker firing his SMG, and a group of soldiers firing assault rifles)
(Young Echo rushes in with his sword and starts slicing through any black dragon mercenaries in his way)
(Cassie and Specter fight their way through the black dragon to get to the cage)
Kabal: Stryker? The hell you doing here?
Stryker: What does it look like? Doing my job. Do you wanna help me win this thing?
Kabal: You son of a bitch... I'm in
