The numbness overtook my body with record timing, my eyes fluttered shut as my body sank into the soft fabric of the couch beneath me. I felt it dip from the pressure of someone sitting down, I felt the warmth radiate off their body as we connected at the sides. When I felt his fingertips brush over my skin I assumed it to be Sebastian, the sensation causing my body to slip even further into the couch. At this point it was almost swallowing me whole. I heard my name being called but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't will my eyes to open. My breaths became shallow and my heartbeat slowed. My name rolling off Seb's lips was the last thing I remembered before the darkness took over.
