Since that day my father pulled that stunt on Gary we haven't seen him since .
He haven't been home in a week .
I knew what would happen to him if Gary found him so I was tryna prepare for the worst .
Ever since my father left it's been me my brother and my step mother .
We got into three fist fights and been arguing non stop for these last past days .
I really am ready to move out .
But I was only 17 and still couldn't get a job that paid me high enough .
I laid on my bed and looked for jobs near me .
School was about to start up again too .
We took a break because of this new outbreak .
The corona virus (covid- 19)🦠 🤦🏽♀️ .
I didn't think it was real but you really never know .
So I made sure I stayed nice and clean .
My brother walked in my room without knocking and sat on the edge of my bed .
I mugged him .
"You could've knocked" I shrugged .
He ignored me and started talking .
"I'm bout to leave out and handle some business don't be arguing and fighting with Lena ."
I shook my head .
"If she come at me sideways she gon get what she looking for" . I said rolling my eyes.
Out of nowhere my phone started ringing.
I looked at Gary already knowing who it was .
ever since that day Malcom tried to set up my brother he been playing on my phone .
My brother snatched the phone and answered it
Malcom finally spoke up .
" Brooklyn"
Gary laughed .
"Nah this Gary Nigga "
The phone hung up and me and Gary sat there laughing our asses off .
