"Well... we...we..."

"This isn't your ordinary combat school. It's not just sparring and practice you know. We're here to fight monsters! So watch where you're going!"

"Hey, she said she was sorry, Princess!"

"It's Heiress, actually. Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world."

"Finally, some recognition!"

"The same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners."

"What- How dare--!" Ruby and I chuckled at her reaction. "The nerve of--! Ugh!"

"I promise I'll make this up to you! I guess we're not the only ones having a rough first day."

"So what's--?" The other girl, all in black, left and acted like that was just a simple and casual event.

"Welcome to Beacon..." Ruby and I said in unison for all the crazy stuff that happened immediately.

"Hey." The blonde boy from earlier was giving us a hand. "I'm Jaune."

"Ruby."

"Y/N."

He helped us both to our feet. I hope he washed his hands.

"Aren't you the guy that threw up on the ship?"

We took a stroll around the campus, no clue where we are going.

"All I'm saying is that motion sickness is a much more common problem than people let on!" Jaune was trying to defend himself against the horrible nickname that Ruby came up with.

"Look, I'm sorry. "Vomit-Boy" was the first thing that came to mind."

"It was still rude and mean."

"Aww... please don't be mad at me, Y/N."

"Fine." Only because she's cute.

"Oh yeah? What if I called you Crater-face?"

"Hey, that explosion was an accident!" Don't make me get defensive you blonde pup.

"Well the name's Jaune Arc! Short, sweet, rolls of the tongue, ladies love it!"

"Do they?" Ruby just had to rub it in, didn't she?

"They will. Well, I hope they will... I mean, my mom always says that... Never mind."

"So... I got this thing." Ruby then pulls her scythe out to show it off.

"Woah! Is that a scythe?"

"It's also a customizable, high impact sniper rifle."

"A wha-?"

"It's also a gun." I said as simply as possible, as to not confuse him.

"Oh. That's cool!"

"So what've you got? I've seen Y/N's, which is nice and simple."

"Oh!" I unsheath my sword and carefully present it to the two. "This is Goldbrand. It's a very sharp katana that works well with my semblance."

"Cool!" Ruby and Jaune like the sword, which was pretty simple.

"Oh- uh, I got this sword."

"Oooooooh!"

"Yeah, I've got a shield too!"

"So what do they do?" Ruby touched the shield making it launch and have Jaune stumble around.

"Well... the shield gets smaller... So... when I get tired of carrying it... I can just put it away."
