Chapter 30

2 Days later...

Jordan's POV:
I have been staying with mal and her parents for a few days now and I feel like I am part of her family. Today we get to meet sister and twin niece and nephew. Mal always talks about them both and how much her sisters family means to her so I need to make a good impression.

"Hey babe, are you ready to go and meet Brianna?" Mal asks me

"Yeah but I have a question" I say dragging her into our room

"What is it jordie, wait no sex now" she says making me laugh

"Don't worry it's not sex or anything like that. I wanted to know if I should wear a button up shirt or a polo" I say making her go red

"Oh erm the polo" she says turning away embarrassed

"Don't be embarrassed baby come here" I say pulling her into my arms

"As much as I would love to have you scream my name now it's not the right time because we are leaving soon" I say making her hit me

"Wow I thought you loved me" I say pretending to be hurt

"Of course I love you babe" she says kissing me

She pulls away and straightens her dress and I pull my polo shirt on.

"Why the polo?"I ask

"Well it is tight fitting and it shows your tattoos and you always wear your bomber jacket with it and I want to wear your jacket later when I get cold" she says passing me my crutches

"Ahhh that's a smart move my UCLA drop out" I say as she punches my stomach

"Come on let's go moron" she says throwing my jacket at me

Mal's POV:
We all get into my moms car and I have to sit on tobins knee because there isn't enough dose for us all. I would sit on Jordan but she still has her cast on so it will hurt us both.

"I'm so excited to see Brianna again" christen squeals happily

"Yeah same I haven't seen her in so long" Tobin says

"I saw her like a month or 2 ago so it's been a while" I say

"How old her the twin?" Jordan asks me

"They are both one babe. They are called Oscar and Leah"

"I love little kids, I can't wait to meet them" Jordan says excitedly.

For the rest of the journey we talk about my sisters family and Christmas because it's coming up in a month. When we get there I fly out the car door and tackle my sister into a hug

"I missed you bri bri" I say with tears streaming down my face

"I missed you too mal mal" she says helping me up

"Where is this sexy fire fighter?" She says making me laugh

"Hands off she's mine" I say as christen runs into Briannas arms

"Hey Chris how are you?"my sister asks

"I'm good thank you bri how are you?" Chris says pulling away

"tired these kids are keeping me on my toes"Brianna responds

"Tobinnnnnnn" Brianna shouts at Tobin who is running up the hill to the house

"Briannaaaaaaaa" Tobin screams back

Me and Chris watch as the both try to jump into each others arms but end up nearly rolling down the hill together

"Come on children get up" I say laughing

"Mal where's you're girlfriend?" Brianna asks me

"Oh shit yeah I need to help her she's on crutches" I say sprinting to the car

"I thought you forgot about me babe" she says looking sad

"I'm so sorry jordie I have missed my sister so much"

"Yeah guess what, I do too. I haven't see mine in fucking 5 years and she might even be fucking dead for all I know" she says putting her head in her hands

"I'm so sorry Jordan, I really am" I say feeling bad

"Nah it's fine go and be with your sister I need some time alone" she says not looking at me

"Ok babe call me when you want me to help you out the car and up the hill" I say and all she does is shut the car door

I walk up the hill defeated and Brianna is stood there waiting for me

"Where is she?" She asks me

"She wants some time to herself I hurt her" I say looking down

"What did you say?" She asks me

"I made an insensitive comment and it hurt her lots" I mumble walking back inside

I walk straight into Christens arms and hold on tightly

"Where's Jordan mal?" She asks me

"I hurt her feelings so she is in the car having some time to herself so she won't be upset when she meets everyone" I say sadly

"Don't worry mal. I will go and talk to her now" Chris says

"Thanks momma Chris" I mumble into her

"It's ok mal. Go and see your niece and nephew now" she says as she walks out the door

Christens POV:
I walk out briannas house and towards the car where Jordan is. When I get there I can see her shaking with her head in her hands. I start running towards her and pull the door open.

"Jordan what's wrong?" I ask her

She doesn't answer she just keeps on shaking uncontrollably. I realize she's having a panic attack. I sit next to her and pull her head onto my chest and tell her to match her breathing with mine. A few minutes later she calms down.

"What's wrong jord?" I ask her softly

"I was thinking about Mia and I feel guilty" she says slowly

"Why do you feel guilty?" I ask her

"I should of picked her up early that day. Whenever I finish work early I pick her up early but that day was the only time I didn't" she says staring at the back of the chair in front

"No Jordan. That's not your fault. We are going to find Mia, I promise. After we go on vacation and play the she believes cup me Tobin and mal will do as much as we can to find Mia" I say holding her hand

"Thanks Chris" she says quietly

"Is mal ok?" She asks me

"Yeah she feels bad but she's with her niece and nephew now"

"Ok can you help me inside please" she asks me.

We get up to the front door and mal comes out and they both apologize to each other and kiss and hug each other before going inside to meet Brianna, Oscar and Leah.
