The Guys In White froze as Siren used his scream to free all of their prisoners. The pods were designed to wake the captives up as soon as they were opened. It was a failsafe in case all power failed, which would cause the pods to open to keep their subjects alive. They could not have their sources of magical DNA "expiring."

Each of the mystics and demons slowly got out of their pods. Some struggled more than others to get out, probably the ones that had been in their pods for longer than the others.

The witch, nymph, mirror demon, and Black Knight seemed to be the ones recovering the fastest. They were probably the more powerful of the group, so that made it easier for them to recover faster.

"Oh, my head," the witch groaned. "Did anyone get the license plate of whatever truck hit me?"

"I feel like I was run over by a herd of unicorns," the nymph says.

"Someone get the world to stop spinning or someone's getting vaporized by an energy ball," the Black Knight threatened, holding his head.

"There's a lot of good auras around," the Grimlock complained. "Makes me even more sick than I already feel."

"Now that is just rude," the legacy stated.

The team just looked at the chaos for a bit. It was a bit strange, but this was probably the best that Siren could do without letting his temper take over. It was good that Roland gave them the run-through of all their powers. So, there would be no surprises coming from the rescued mystics and demons.

The witch, while also having the regular two-line spells, had the power of deflection and could summon small shields into her hands to deflect anything sent her way. The guardian, which were mortals blessed by magic to have powers to protect magical beings, had the power to absorb anything he touches and turn his body into the same material. The nymph was the easiest to explain with her nature manipulation powers, but not as strong as Krinos'. The gnome was could run at super speed to remain hidden. The forest elf not only had nature magic, but could also communicate with animals, create weapons from wood, and use flower pollen to stun opponents or make them fall asleep. The legacy, descendant from a legendary hero, is the descendant of Orion the legendary huntsman, inheriting his amazing archery skills. The vampire was straight forward with her fangs, super speed, bat transformation, and near invulnerability. Last was the valkyrie, who was a master swordswoman and an immortal Norse demigoddess.

The demons were very different from them. Banshees have a scream that killed anyone that she screamed at, except for witches who would be turned into a banshee if they heard the scream. The mirror demon not only could travel through mirrors but could also conjure mystical mirror attacks. As discussed, grimlocks could see auras and use good auras to strangle their owners as well as steal the sight from anyone even if they prefer children. Imp Masters conjure imps from their own bodies and send them wherever to attack anyone he wants. Demonic shapeshifters were different from mystic ones as they could change into any animal, person, or object. Furies can travel through smoke, make their victims hear the cries of those they hurt, and use their smoke breath to force smoke inhalation on others. The Black Knight could conjure medieval weapons, turn others into his loyal knights, throw energy balls, and usually was the commander of a slew of executioner demons.

"You sure that was a good idea," Mal asked Siren.

"It was the best I could do given the current situation," White shrugged.

"A little warning next time, though," Roland shook his head as if he has swimmer's ear. "My ears are still ringing."

"My siren shriek can do that," White said.
