Chapter 1: What can I do without you

CHAPTER ONE:

I got out of my bed feeling extremely tired, last night I was busy playing games with my phone and watching one of my favourite Korean series, I just didn't feel like sleeping not until 4am in the morning I dozed off knowing very well I was going to face my mum's wrath in the morning, I just knew that my mum will wake me up early for shopping and other unnecessary stuff I hate doing.

"Ema", my mum yelled causing me to roll out of my bed, why do I have to wake up this early just for shopping, it's not as if I was the one opening the store or something I muttered to myself and rolled my eyes.

"yes mum, I'm coming", I went down stairs to answer my mum and I met my best friend standing in front of the door looking as cute as always, with his dark brown curly hair falling on his face and his hazel eyes looking at his feet, he was wearing a white sweatshirt, white ripped jeans and a black sneakers.

"OMG Daniel, you look so stunning", I winked, "are you planning on taking me out for a date or something", making him look up to me as we both laughed...honestly how does he look so breath taking and yet doesn't have a girlfriend I thought to myself, when we were at high school some of the girls were dying to be with him and would ask me for his number, luckily for me I got one of the hottest guy in school to be my best friend It was one of the best thing that happened in my life, having a kind, sweet, cute and caring guy as a friend, he is always there for me, he never wants to see me sad and because of that I loved him more, like GOD what else would one ask for...

"Hey Ema, are u going to stand there like a statue or go get dressed", he said disrupting me from my thoughts.

"Oh will you shut up and come with me to my room so you'll help me figure out what I will wear", I smirk. In case u guys don't know Daniel is like my fashionista, he is the one who normally picks the cloth I will wear and of course my underwear's too, I know I might sound weird but he is my friend and honestly I don't care, that's just the positive part of having a male friend yet having no feelings attached to it.

"OK ok ok, I think you should probably start paying me for doing all this for you, you know...''Daniel said smacking me on my shoulders as we both went upstairs to my room. As we got to my room, I went straight to my bathroom and Daniel went to play some music, he normally says the music inspires him to choose the outfit I will wear for the day, like how does that even make sense.

I spent 45 minutes in the bathroom under the hot splash of water running through my skin and leaving me with the thought of how life will be in the next 1 month because I was going to college same as Daniel since we would be meeting new people and that's were life actually begins, 'THE TASTE OF FREEDOM'.

45 minutes later I was out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped on my chest and my long wet hair covering my face, I just stood there starring at Daniel, then looked at the bed and saw my outfit for the day, a white jeans, a black and white tank top, a black leather jackets and a black sandals, I just looked at the bed again and then at Daniel.

"Honestly Danny, what can I do without you?", I said smiling sheepishly at him

"Ehmmm lemme think...eh nothing, but don't be sad at least you can breathe without me", he said with a smirk... since I had nothing to say to him I just stuck out my tongue to him playfully.

"Well am heading downstairs to help your mum out in the kitchen, if u like sleep in the room, maybe before you are done I and your mum might be through with the breakfast", he said as a walked out of the room.

I went downstairs and starring at the dining table I saw my favourite dish Chinese chicken salad... "OH mum, you made my favourite meal, you are so amazing", I smiled as I gave her a hug and kiss on her cheek. I can't wait to devour the food in front of me.

"Awwn...won't you give me a kiss too, you should know I was the one that asked your mum to prepare the meal and moreover I also helped in preparing the meal", Daniel said as he gave me a wink.

I walked straight to Daniel and gave him a peck on his cheek, he almost turned tomato red. I swear I heard an awwwn from my mum but I couldn't care less because we all know that it was just a friendly kiss. After all the drama displayed in front on my mum we all sat down to enjoy our bteakfast.
