Chapter 7

Jieun's POV

my first task is to go back before my suicide act. i'm scared to know what really happened to be honest

i can't remember anything and even what i was thinking back then.

"are you ready to go back now jieun?" hyunjoon asked me while he was getting ready

the upper ones told him he'll be joining me for today's task

i nodded and told him i'm ready. but in reality i wasn't. what if i really wanted to die early?

"its time. lets go jieun" and we went inside the door heading towards the past

at the past [i-present, she-past]

we're now inside my room and i saw my past self entering the room.

she was crying. she was cursing her older brother jihoon

"i can't believe him. i was living in the same house with him. he lied to me for how long? 7 years. i hate him. I HATE HIM SO MUCH" she said

i looked at hyunjoon as he was patiently listening to my past self ranting

"hey hyunjoon what do you think was my reason to commit suicide?" i asked while looking at my past self

"i don't actually think you committed suicide" he truthfully said

i looked at him and back at my past self when i noticed that she fell asleep

a knock was heard from the door and it gotten louder and louder

she suddenly woke up and run to the bathroom to hide

the door opened and revealed the person behind my suicide act or should i say fake suicide act

"eonni?" the person said

i looked at hyunjoon and to that person, they looked the same.

"my sister" he admitted to me

"the reason why you and i are in heaven because we didn't committed suicide" he looked at that person

"we were killed by the same person" a tear dropped from his eyes

"yoon minhee no. her real name is heo minhee"

we saw how she went towards the bathroom and strangled my past self. how she faked my suicide by placing a knife besides me and how she putted me at the floor. how she took a cloth and wiped my blood on everything.

"why?" i teared up

"jealousy dear jieun" hyunjoon said

i hate you heo minhee but i thought we're friends. we were sisters but you changed.

"i hope you die now eonni so i can finally replace you." she smirked and left the room

hyunjoon held my hand and we went back to heaven

we went back and i hurriedly locked myself in my assigned room. minhee i trusted you.

Hyunjoon's POV

i know she'll be okay. i hope so please be okay jieun. i lov-

i went to the upper ones to report what we discovered from the past

"so your sister again?" the oldest one said

he shook his head in disappointment. he told me we did a good job and ordered me to comfort jieun for now

i went back and knocked at her room

"hey jieun? do you want some ice cream?" i asked her. i hope she'll say yes

the door opened revealing a puffy eyed jieun. i hugged her as soon as i saw her. my poor baby :(

"i'll buy ice cream what flavor do you want?" i cupped her face and tried wiping her tears

"c-cookies and cream please" she tried answering. my baby is cute even when crying.

i asked her if she wants to buy it with me and thankfully she agreed.

don't worry jieun. we'll make sure you'll get the justice you deserve. i don't care if minhee is my sister. no that was before i don't have a sister now.

Dino's POV

i still can't believe how dokyeom hyung saw jieun at the park. i hope i get to see her soon. we're currently in school today to study for the upcoming exam

its been two weeks since the incident and we're still copping up from everything.

i decided to skip the next class and go to jieun's room

i went inside without knocking and sat in her bed

"i miss you little jieun" i tried holding back the tears

"i want to hug you right now. i want to eat ice cream with you. i wanted to perform with you. i want to do everything with you." tears finally dropped fast

"oppa is sorry" i felt something heavy in my head as i look up

i saw her patting my head. i smiled

"jieun.." i burst out

she smiled at me "i'm currently eating my favorite ice cream right now oppa"

i chuckled even in her soul she's still eating her favorite cookies and cream ice cream

"i thought why not bring you your favorite look behind you" i followed her instruction and i saw my favorite ice cream

i took it in my hands and as i looked back at her she just waved her hand and told me goodbye

i smiled. i looked at the ice cream and i noticed there was a letter

"i'll be back oppa! jieun will be back!" seriously what a kid.

after some time, i started eating my ice cream with a wide smile

"i'll just the hyungs what happened later after class" i thought
