Everything is Only for You (Complete)

Sidharth a hero

Sidharth had moved away from the media surrounding Sana that night. He had seen Sana looking at him as her family took her away. Sidharth had called his home first to inform that he is safe and out of the hotel but he had not returned home then. He stayed with the police helping them with everything he knew about the insides of the hotel. After an hour a team of commandos had entered the building from the restaurant exit. By early morning two terrorists were killed and one that Sid had tied up was arrested. All the staff and guests of the hotel were safely rescued by them.

That day about twenty people had lost their lives and thirty seven were injured in the hotel attack. Sidharth was dropped at his home by the police in the morning. He was relieved to be back at home. His mother had cried holding him close when he had arrived. Shini had cried too and was happy to see his brother home safe.

Sid had fallen asleep after returning home. He wakes up hearing some noise coming from outside. Sid comes out of his bed room to find some press and media people with cameras in his small living room. They are asking questions to Sid's mother who is scared to see so many cameras in front of her. Shini is holding her and trying to keep them away. Sid gets angry and starts shouting," What the hell is happening here? What are you all doing in my house? Just leave my house now." He goes near his mother and takes her inside with Shini.

Sid comes out of the bedroom to find the media people still waiting for him. He asks, "Why are you people still here?" One of them says," Sorry to have barged in like this. But we want an interview from you." Sid looks surprised and asks,"My interview? But why? I am not a celebrity." One of them says,"Well you are a hero now. We got the information from few guests and customers at the restaurant about how you helped them escape. You also saved the famous actress Sana. Please sir give us one interview." Sid has no idea what to do know. He just says them," Listen I am no hero. I don't want to give any interview. Please don't come into my house and disturb my family anymore." But the people still asks," Just one question sir, how did you feel when terrorists were firing bullets? Were you scared?" Sid shakes his head and says,"When you know you will die, how will you feel? Think and you will understand how I felt. Now please leave."

In the evening all news channels shows the feature on the hero in the terrorist attack, Sidharth Kapoor. They show everything on him. They give all the details about his life including the fact that he had lost his father at an young age and he had worked hard to get this job in such a prestigious hotel. They show snippets of interviews of his colleagues, neighbours, and people who know him. They give details on how he had broken the back door of the restaurant open to let the customers and restaurant staff to escape. He had bravely helped a family to escape too. More importantly he had single handedly took over the gun man and tied him down till commandos captured him. He is the real hero as he safely brought the nation's favourite actress Sana out from the clutches of the terrorists.

Shini watches the news with all pride and excitement in her eyes. She can't believe that her brother could do something so brave. His mother looks scared but she too watches the news with pride for her son. Sid starts getting calls from councillors, MLAs, MPs and even Ministers. Neighbours starts visiting them with flowers and sweets showering words of praises for their local boy.

Sid doesn't like to be in the limelight. He is a simple man with limited needs and big responsibilities. He has to go back to work, earn his living to support his family. This media coverage, people visiting him, appreciations are not something he wants. He just gives one answer to people who ask him about that night," I had to survive for my family. I did what I could to live and let others live."

In the midst of all this chaos, Sid still thinks about Sana. How vulnerable she was with him that night. She was scared like everyone else but there was something else too. A fear that was rooted inside her. Something in her had made him think about her more. He had not heard from her again after that night.

After a few weeks, Sid joins his work again as the Hotel reopens. He is called in by the General Manager. He is praised for his bravery and promoted to another bigger restaurant of the Hotel, La Bella Restaurant. Sid is happy that he will get a hike in salary. A thought comes to his mind as he enters the restaurant. Will Sana come to this Italian restaurant?

His thoughts on Sana however takes another drastic turn when he returns one morning from the gym. As he parks his motor bike, he finds few cars standing in front of his building. One of the driver looks familiar. He gets up the stairs to find a huge crowd of neighbours at the entrance of his apartment. Confused on what is happening, he walks past the neighbours and gets inside. There in his living room, he finds Sana sitting with her Mamaji, Rinky, Bunty and a middle aged woman, probably her Mamiji. Entering the room, Sid closes the door on the face of the neighbours. He looks at them. Rinky is smiling and Sana has no expression on her face. Her Mama ji and Mami ji sits on the sofa with a grumpy face. Bunty is busy in his phone. He then asks," What is going on here?" His mother says,"Yeh log yahaan par rista ley ke ayein hain." Sid looks at them and says,"What?"
