"your mom did what?" "she's making me stay at chenle's house for 8- yah how many times do i have to tell you this?!"
my brows were furrowed as i stared angrily at my best friend, han sowon. sowon only grinned before replying, "i heard you the first time it's just that i was surprised"
hyein sighs before leaning back to her seat, "imagine how surprised i was" sowon only cooed at her friend before hugging her tightly from the side,
"poor hyein-ie, don't worry i sense love blooming from the two of you later"
my eyes widened and i immediately nudge her stomach with my elbow which made her wince as her arms loosen around me. "can you like stop doing violent things to me?"
"well can you stop saying stupid things?" i replied sarcastically which made her chuckle. "i mean what's the worse thing that can happen?" sowon put her hands up as she stared at hyein
hyein shrugs which made sowon drop her arms to the table as she leaned forward, "see~ you're worrying over nothing. just chillax hyein-ah" sowon's hands were outstretched as she mushed hyein's cheeks around
"okay okay stop" her voice was muffled from her face being played around but sowon understood so she let go of her cheeks but not forgetting to pinch it once since hyein's cheeks are deadly irresistible because of how squishy it is
just then a few screams were heard and both girls immediately knew what's happening. two boys walked inside the classroom with a swarm of girls following from behind. both girls followed their figures until the two boys sat down on their seats and of course, the girls were surrounding them but they ignored them coldly
hyein's eyes went to a certain figure as he put on his airpods until he suddenly raised his head and craned it to the side making their eyes meet. for some reason, hyein couldn't tear her eyes away and the boy kept on staring until he gave her a small smile before diverting his gaze to his phone
hyein's eyes widened as the blood rushed to her face. she immediately averted her gaze and cleared her throat awkwardly, a habit of hers when she's feeling extremely nervous.
'why didn't i look away first? why are you such an airhead hyein jeez'
she then continues to talk with sowon despite the fact her mind was somewhere else because of what happened seconds ago.
she totally didn't notice that the boy return his gaze back to her, ignoring his friend's calls
