I take a glance again in a full body length vanity mirror. I just simply wore a cocktail blue dress na humapit sa slim kong katawan. A light make up appeared in my face.

"Sweetheart, where are you?"
I heard my mom asked.

She's been asking that for the nth times, at isa lang ang sagot ko.

"Im on my way mom."

"You've been telling that kanina pa sweety, pero wala kapa.."
I bet she's already pouting

I cant help but smiled. Oh Gosh! I love my mom sa much! Kahit sobrang childish neto mahal ko to ng sobra

I cherish her more than anyone.

"And you've been asking that for the nth times mom, oh scratch that—for the 10th times na pala. "
Natatawa kong tugon dito. I just heard her a 'hmp' sound.

Ngingiti ngiti naman ako bago niliko ang manibela, malapit nako sa subdivision namin.

"Mom? Still there?"
Nanahimik na kasi ito.

"Ah yes. Yes.. Call me when you were here anak.."

"Yeah mom.." I tap my fingers on the steering wheel while nodding.

"Bye sweetheart.. Take care, i love you.."
A smile crept on my lips before i respond.

"I will.. I love you too"

45 mins ng makarating ako sa subdivision namin, andito parin ako sa loob ng kotse.
Kita ko narin ang hindi pamilyar na limousine sa garahe namin, it must be the Lazaro's.

I dont know, i am having a second thought about it.

Do i really need to do this?

Shit Ly! For pet sake makisakay kana lang sa kabaliwan ng ama mo!

Suddenly my phone rang.

"Mom"
Bati ko dito.

"Sweetheart. Where are you? Family Lazaro are already here. Are you still driving?"

Hayst. Is now or never, i will face them.

"No mom. Im already here. Papasok nako.."
I hung up the phone without saying goodbye. Dahil siguro sa kaba kaya hindi nako nakapag paalam.

I gathered myself to walk inside the house.
Pagbukas ng pinto'y si yaya ising ang naabutan ko.

I smiled at her.

"Manang.."

"Oh Alyssa ineng! Andito kana pala, ang ganda ganda mo paring bata ka!"
Natutuwa nitong bungad sakin.

I chuckled a bit because of her sudden outburst. Hindi ko sya masisisi, first year college ako when i decided to move out and live on my own. And now, im in 3rd year college.

"Si manang talaga. By the way sila mommy?"

Ito na naman yung kabang kanina kupa nararamdaman. Pero winaksi ko iyon.

I need to compose myself.

"Nasa dining na ineng. Pati yung mga bisita andun narin.."

"Hmm. Sige po, puntahan ko muna sila.."

Unti unting nawala ang ngiti ko pagkatalikod ko kay manang.

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang expression na namumutawi sa itsura ko, pilit na nilalabanan ang kabang nararamdaman.
