Today is your first day at collage and you can't help but feel overwhelmed with extreme excitement! You eagerly throw yourself off of your bunk bed and feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins as you sit upright on the rug and gather together your thoughts.
You struggle to find many of those, so instead you take this rare time you have to yourself into good use and do the familiar act of emptying your head and tuning into the noises outside your window- well in fact, the jarring lack of noise outside your window. The silence quickly begins to crush down on you, being so used to city life it felt odd being able to hear only birds chirping. You close your eyes and continue to feel the existential dread as it weighs in your stomach like lead.
Knock knock*
The sudden noise jolts you out of your trance and causes you to accidentally slam your head against your bed railing.
"Ahhh y/n you're gonna be late stupid~"
You groan at your brother to leave you at peace.
"No dummy~ I really mean it~you need to go now.... collage starts in 20 minutes."
Ugh?? You quickly look up at your brother in horror.
"Jin you said you were going to wake me up!" You quickly squeal before jumping up onto your feet.
Jin stares at you lovingly- or so you assume, and opens your bedroom door wide enough to accommodate your mass amount of girth.*
"No I didn't y/n, I literally never said that."
You avoid his cleverly articulated genius rebuttal by quickly pushing past him and jolting into the bathroom, You can't be late on the first day! What kind of first impression would that be?
It's important to you that people at collage like you! If they see you coming in late everyone will assume you're some lazy child who couldn't even bother to turn up on time, how can anyone expect to have friends then? You'll probably be so lonely that you will have to befriend the delinquents, or, if all else is lost, maybe even the theatre kids...
You wouldn't- no, no you COULDN'T deal with such a blow to your ego.
