"mattia, i just don't think i can do this any longer." kairi mumbled through the MacBook screen.
mattia let out a small chuckle, thinking kairi was just playing. he looked up from his phone screen, meeting a straight faced kairi.
he cleared his throat seeing that kairi was serious.
"wh- what do you mean kai? do you not love me anymore?" mattia said, trying to avoid his voice cracking. he was confused on where this was coming from. they never fought. they had been dating for a year now after finding eachother through instagram.
"no baby, it's not that. i promise i love you more than anything. i dont like that i can't have you next to me mattia. do you know how much it hurts when i have to third wheel my friends, knowing that could be us but you're not here?" kairi said, tears threatening to spill out.
"kairi, i know baby, i know this sucks. you know i try my best to go see you as much and as often as i can. i wish i was closer. i promise when we finish high school, i'll relocate and we'll move in together. i love you baby, please don't end this, don't end us." mattia said trying his best to persuade his boyfriend.
