"Yeah wanna go driving tonight?" Hyde asked as Lana turned around in his arms to face him.

"Sure" She said with a smile, Hyde gave her a quick kiss, "I'm serious about disinfecting the truck through"

Lana ran downstairs into the kitchen, gift in hand, "Happy birthday mama!"

"Liliana Forman! Aww you are too sweet!" Kitty said pulling her daughter into a bone crushing hug.

She gave her flowers, and her mom opened the gift to reveal an old picture of Lana with her parents which she framed. It was one of the only picture were Red had a genuine smile, Kitty was all dolled up, and young Lana had her hair in pigtails, with ribbons in it.

Kitty's eyes began to tear up, "Ohh honey I love it!" Kitty kissed her cheek and Lana started to help her mom with the food.

Soon Hyde stopped by the house, he got Kitty some flashbulbs for her birthday. Lana loved how close her mom and Hyde were, she didn't even have to tell Hyde it was Kitty's birthday.

"So, do you wanna stay for dinner?" Kitty asked the curly haired boy

"Oh, no, thanks. I'm just gonna grab a sandwich," Hyde smiled

Lana put down the plates, "You should stay. As mom always says..."

"a sandwich is a sandwich, but a Manwich is a meal!" Kitty and Lana said in the same sing song tone, with big smiles on their faces

"Oh, well, thanks," Hyde laughed, taking the manwich

"Hey, Mom, what's for dinner? I'm starving!" Eric said coming into the kitchen and sitting down

"Manwiches!" Kitty answered

"Again?" Eric whined, "Ahh, we just had those!"

"You should eat it, you're looking a little scrawny lately" Lana said as she slammed the food down in front of him

Red walked through the door, "Kitty, I left my shirt on the bed. It needs to be ironed for tomorrow."

"Okay." Kitty nodded disappointed in her husband

"Oh, and, uh...I know you think I forgot, but I didn't." Red said giving Kitty a kiss, Lana was actually happy he remembered

"Oh, Red, I knew you'd remember!" Kitty beamed

Red nodded, "Yep, the check for the plumber is on the dresser."

Kitty sighed, and came over to sit next to Eric who hasn't even touched his manwhich , "Um...is there anything else to eat?" he asked

"Well, you know what, honey?" Kitty said grabbing the plates, "I don't give a good gosh darn what you eat!" She threw the dishes in the sink and stormed off. Lana quickly ran after her.

Eric and Red tried to make it up to Kitty, but nothing was working. They had to pull out the big guns and unfortunately that included Lana. The Formans, Donna and Hyde stood watching the square dancers with horrified looks. Kitty however was jumping up and down happily. They were all dress up in country arrier with Lana, Donna and the guys in jeans, while Kitty was in a huge poofy dress.

"I can't believe we're finally square dancing. Oh, this is so much fun." kitty said excitedly.

"It looks like "Hee-Haw" puked in here." Red groan before getting pulled out to the dance floor by kitty

"Oh, my God. This is awful." Eric complained

Donna sighed, "She made me waffles. Now promenade, you son of a bitch!" She then dragged Eric to the dance floor

"This is actually Hell" Hyde groaned in disgust

"come on lets get this over with," Lana sighed and grabbed Hyde's hands.

After about an hour at the square dance, Lana and Hyde left early. They were at Hyde's place. Lana browwed a t-shirt from Hyde and a pair of shorts. The t-shirt was oversized, falling just below her butt. And the shorts covering up the rest of her.

Lana walked out of his bedroom to see Hyde laying down on the couch. Lana snuggled up next to Hyde on the couch while he was watching some random show on the tv. She laid her head on his chest and he wrapped his arm around her body.

"Thank you" Lana mumble against his chest.

"For what?" He said playing with the ends of her hair. Lana lifted her head up to look atbhim

"For not forgeting my mom's birthday and for coming square dancing with me" Lana said with a slight smile, "I really apperieate it"

Hyde smiled and place a hand on her cheek, she let her head relax into his palm. "It's no big deal it's what any boyfriend would do" he brushed it off.

"not everyone would have done that" Lana insisted, "thank you"

"geez since did you get all emotional" Hyde teased with a laugh

"shut up" Lana said as she turned her attention back to the tv, let herself drift off to sleep
