Show and Tell

First of all guys... I WANNA GIVE YOU ALL A HUGE THANKS FOR GETTING THIS TO ALMOST 400 READS! I never dreamed I would get this many, and as someone who has been writing their whole life, it really means a lot.
Now, I get that some of you don't like it when people suggest things for you, and if so, no hard feelings, skip to the actual story part. BUT! I would really appreciate it if you guys would check out some of my other stuff! None of them are nearly as popular as this one, but I feel like they are just as good. "Secondary", "Child of the Rift", and "Glimmer" are all good. (Glimmer are some poems though - I'm not as good at them as fiction, so give me a break.)
I'm always writing and making more new stuff, and if one of my stories isn't popular I tend to stop adding to them. I feel like they're all good, so show them some love!

This isn't a command, but it's a friendly suggestion from me, Lunie, to you, dear reader. If you like my style, please check out my stuff!

Nico

I nervously fidget with the silver band on my finger as I wait for Will to arrive.

He and I have been dating for years, and he just popped the question last night. Of course I said yes! Who wouldn't to a gorgeous guy like that?

Will and I are going to announce it to a few close friends at dinner, and then to the whole camp later on. Dinner's in about 15 minutes, and Will promised he'd come and help me look good, but not like I tried to hard. That'd be suspicious.

"Knock knock?" Will pokes his head through the doorway and I smile. He strolls in and shuts the door behind him, looking at home. He should, since he's been sleeping in this cabin for the past couple of weeks.

When he takes my face in his hands, gently, I sigh. He kisses me, and he smells like fresh grass and the woods and perfection. Then we pull apart.

"Hey Sunshine," I say, cocking an eyebrow and grinning. "Come help me get ready."

About 10 minutes later I look clean, fresh, and happy. A series of loving kisses from your favorite guy in the world does that to you, I guess. Then I kiss him once more in the privacy of my cabin and we walk to dinner.

At dinner I make sure to get a table with only Thalia, Annabeth, and Percy. And my lovely Will, of course.

When we've all just about finished I glance at Will, and he smiles and nods. Then I turn first to Thalia.

"Thanks for being there for me Thal," I say, smiling a little. She smiles, slightly confused, and says "Sure?"

Then I turn to Annabeth.

"Thanks for everything you've done to support me, and a special thanks for getting me out of that boarding school alive." She smiles, confused like Thalia, but says "It was fun, I think."

Here comes the hard part. I turn to Percy.

"Thanks for saving me from that school." He nods, not looking me in the eye. "And thanks for being straight." He looks up.

"What?"

I smile a little, happy with myself for being clever with how I said my thanks.

"If you had been gay," I said, looking happily at Will, then back at the three of them, "I wouldn't be engaged to the most perfect man alive," I finish, showing them the ring.

Three gasps are heard all around the pavilion.

"Shhh!" Will says quietly, smiling hugely. "We want to keep it a secret for a while."

Annabeth and Thalia are hugging us both, telling us congratulations and smiling. But Percy is just sitting there. I come around the table to him.

"Congrats, bro. Can't wait for the wedding," Percy says to me, smiling. I hug him. I feel him stiff and shocked at first, but then he hugs me back.

"Thanks Percy," I say, pulling away. "Thanks for everything."

And I know that all is well when Percy high-fives Will as well, telling him he's a lucky dude.

Will slips his hand into mine, smiling at how happy everyone is for us. I pull him behind a pole and kiss him quickly, smiling into his big blue eyes.

I can safely and accurately say that this was one of the best days of my life.

So what did you guys think? I know I didn't update for a while but I wasn't sure If I wanted to. I liked it though! I have an idea about what happens next...

Please leave a comment with what scene I should do next - their wedding, telling hades and apollo face to face for the first time, what? TELL ME! If a lot of people want one thing, that's what I'll do. Okay?
