—- Greetings! It's me, the author or "author-chan". It has been a while since I created this book and I never expected so many people to read it. I can still remember why I made this book. I was a closeted kid who wanted some wlw romance with Azula but was frustrated to see little to none available so I created this book so that less people would feel the same way I did. I started it when I was 16, published when I was 17 and I kind of forgotten about it since. I've grown up now and I'm turning 19. This is where I want to say my apologies. So many things happened during the past years that this book was just forgotten. Although I still identify as pan, I do not feel the same way about Azula anymore because of how I see her. I see her as a kid now and she's 14 in atla where this book takes place. Being 18 it just feels wrong to continue this book since it is about Azula when she was a child. She's just one of my old childhood character crushes, and I feel nothing for her now and I would feel awful if I continued a romance one shot about her at my age. So I will be marking this book as completed. I love you all so much for reading my work you do not know how happy it makes me to know that there are so many people that was like me when I was a kid. Alas as a person who respects age, I can never bring myself to continue this book. I understand if you are disappointed with this, but please understand why I had to end it here.
I already thought of an ending back then but I did not have any time to write about how it will come to it. The ending I thought of was this so SPOILER ALERT: it was supposed to end with her cutting her hair off (like what zuko did) near a river and escaped the empire with you away from the pain, the betrayal, the loneliness, and the people that despised her. She realizes that she doesn't want power but she just wanted to feel needed and loved, to be chosen first before any other. She finally accepts her feelings for you and vise-versa.
That said, I want to end this book with an open ending. But I thought the least I could do is tell you guys the ending I thought of in the past.

(Disclaimer: this is not to say that romance while you're children is bad, but more so "why is an 18 year old making an x reader of a 14 year old" is what rubs me the wrong way! I might make more wlw and other fan fics in the future but if it is an x reader it will be with an adult :))
