● He genuinely didn't even think he'd be interested, until one day when you were hanging out in the library together, and you pulled him into you so his head could lay on your chest

● Honestly, he kind of cried a little when he felt your hands on him, absentmindedly stroking his arm or running down his back while you studied your notebook

● It painfully reminded him of how he'd missed out on family and affection his whole life, but now he'd found someone who was more than willing to provide it for him

● Take his hand in yours when his emotions begin to spiral. Let him know you're there for him by rubbing little circles onto his skin with your thumb

● Pull him into hugs whenever you can; when he does well on a test, when he's feeling down, when you're alone together

● Teach him how to kiss, pressing your lips against his and guiding him through the motions

● Each one will take time, but the slow build-up of trust is what makes your relationship so special, each moment spent together adding up to something undeniably beautiful

● He'll just pull you onto your bed or couch and hold you, not wanting to let go

● Sometimes he'll ask you to hold him, letting his head settle against your chest as you run your fingers through his bi-colored hair

● Cuddle sessions with Shouto are long and sweet, often taking out several minutes to gently kiss before going back to hugging

● You both more or less taught each other how to kiss, and within a matter of weeks you're practically masters at it, knowing each other inside and out

● I feel like Shouto would do well with a person who's pretty talkative. He's a great listener and would absolutely love to hear you talk for hours on end about anything.

● But I also feel like he would be 100% comfortable around a really quiet person as well. He's the type of guy where you could just sit together for an entire afternoon and never say a word, but somehow you're just so fulfilled with being in each others' presence.

● Shouto is the type of boyfriend you'll have a long-lasting relationship with if you do it right, and I have no doubt that you'll be high school sweethearts for years and years to come.
