CHAPTER 9

"Maggie..... Anong issue na naman to? Di ba sinabi ko naman sayo, magbakasyon muna tayo sa isyu! Nakakaloka kang bata ka! Ano na lang ba sasabihin ng fans ninyo ni Haven."

Haven pero Harper Aven Cuesta, my former bandmate, schoolmate, pero hanggang doon lang yon, hanggang pumasok ako ng showbiz after college.

"What now? I told you we're not together."

6 years had passed. Sobrang daming nangyari. We never heard from dad. Mom died after I graduate from Senior High. Terminal cancer. Matagal na nyang alam pero hindi nya sinabi sa amin. I accidentally found her meds and tried to look it up in the internet. I immediately told Kuya and we went to New York for her treatment. But she never made it.

Hanggang ngayon sinisisi ko lahat kay Dad. He was never there when mom suffered. He never was. It ended me too. It is now just me and my Kuya. He's busy with his family pero he still treats me like a child. I am now living alone in our QC house.

I finished senior high and college in the U.S. I had casual flings, I never really invest any feelings to them. I don't want to go through the same pain again.

Tina on the other hand followed me to New York. Pero magkaiba kami ng school noong ng college. It's okay we still live in the same apartment. She never really left me, she's like my sister kulang na lang sa apelyido.

"Hoy impakta ka, hindi pwede yan, ano na lang ang sasabihin ko sa mga fans nyo? Masisira ang career mo, wala ka namang paki don, pero maawa ka naman sa career ni Haven. Stop being selfish. "

"I clearly made myself clear that I am not in a relationship with him."

"Please let's just settle this issue, dahan dahanin natin ang fans. But definitely not this cheating issue. Ang pangit sa image mo. If only they know pano ka mag reject ng mga lalaking lumalapit sa yo. Ako oo alam ko na hindi ka cheater kasi theres nothing to cheat for at the first place, pero how about other people? I'll come up with a plan. Just focus in performing okay."

I thought he's done, but I just thought.

"Please you have a major concert coming. That's nearly a week to go. I'll do everything to end this cheater issues for the nth time."

"Do I have a choice?"

"No."

"Then be my guest. Can I go back to my sleep now?"

Tomorrow is the day. Before the concert I have an appointment to a sitcom to promote the show, not that I need that anymore, but sort of advertisement na din.

"Look who we have as our guest today, the lovely, the one and only Maggie D."

I smiled at the camera very reserved. The art of tease.

"Tell us something about the new Maggie, what do we expect in this concert?"

"Good afternoon to you too Tito, tomorrow's concert going to be extra special. I have something new to my fans. I can't wait to give them this different side of me."

"What a tease, I can tell they can't wait for tomorrow then. But before we let you go, I have one last question. Are you really dating Kyle Cruz?"

"We're friends tito."

"You've been very friendly for the past years iha." And he laughed.

I smiled sweetly to the crowd and winked. Let's play this playgirl thing that you want me to be then.

Ang ingay ng stadium, madilim din para mahighlight ang mga suot nila na light stick. The theme for this concert is purple and pink so yun din ang kulay ng lightsticks.
