You and Daisy were sitting in the elevator in The Lighthouse waiting for it to reach the floor with Coulson's office.

She looked at you nervously as you grabbed her hand.

"What do I tell him?" she asked, worry overtaking her face.

"Just be honest," you tell your girlfriend, smiling at her.

"But what if he doesn't accept it?" she asks turning fully to you.

"He seems cool with me, and he knows I'm not straight," you say, lightly laughing.

"But this is different! You're just an agent, one of the best, might I add. He has to treat you nicely. But Coulson is," she pauses for a moment, "like my dad."

"Exactly. He's like your dad. He should love you for who you are. Who you love shouldn't affect his love for you," you say, kissing her, your hands making their was to her cheeks, "I promise, he'll accept you."

She sighed as she leaned into your touch.

"You should be proud of who you are. You shouldn't have to hide anymore," you say, pecking her lips one last time.

Finally, the elevator stops at Coulson's office. The two of you separate before the doors open.

You gave her a reassuring smile before walking in with her.

Coulson looked up from reading an old 1945 Captain America comic.

"Good morning," he smiled when he saw Daisy.

"Morning," the two of you said in unison.

You walked over to the corner and leaned against the wall, crossing your arms as your eyes steadied on Coulson.

"Listen, Coulson," she started, "I need to tell you something."

He looked up, taking off his glasses and setting down his comic. "I'm all ears," he said, folding his hands on his desk.

"I've been meaning to tell you this for a while, and I could never find the right way to do it," she began, "and I'm so sorry for keeping this from you. I just hope you accept me."

She looked over at you, then back at Coulson. She took a shaky breath before continuing; "I like guys and girls."

"You're bi," Coulson said, before getting up out of his chair, walking over to her. He pulled her into a big hug, before saying, "You have every right to be."

Her eyes widened from shock, before hugging him back. A few tears trickling down her cheek.

You smiled, happy that she no longer has to hide from her dad. She was dreading this day when she discovered her sexuality.

Daisy and Coulson pulled away, smiling at eachother.

"Thank you," says Daisy.

"For what?" Coulson asked.

"Accepting that I'm bi," she said.

"Daisy, you don't have to thank me. It's who you are. Everyone should accept it. It shouldn't matter what your sexuality, gender, skin tone, financial state, or job is," he says, "I love you for your personality, and that's how everyone else should view you. It's no ones business if you kiss a guy or a girl. What matters is who you are inside."

She wraps her arms back around him. You could tell how much this meant to her. Coulson was her world. He gave her a family, a job, a home, and a father she never had. Him accepting her was exactly what she needed.

"Oh," Couslon started after a moment of silence, "Be sure to bring your girlfriend to dinner tonight."

He smirks over at you, as yours and Daisy's jaws drop.

"I think you forgot there are cameras in the elevator," he smiled at you.

You and Daisy lightly laugh as you walk into the elevator, hand in hand.

"I love you," Coulson says.

"I love you too," Daisy responds.

"I'll see you later, dad," Daisy says.

When the door closes, you pull her into a kiss.

"See? It wasn't that hard."

BONUS

As you and Daisy ride to the main hall, you see her eyes widen.

"Shit, did I call him dad?"

You laugh at her, as the doors open, walking to the briefing station.
