Tears streamed down your face as you waited outside the hospital room at the Avengers Facility.

On a recent mission your fiance, Bucky, went on, he was captured by Hydra. You finally got him back, but you were terrified that he had forgotten you, and what injuries may have been inflicted.

A doctor walked out, allowing you to come in. You walked in, and you swore you could hear the shattering in your chest. There sat Bucky, but his face was emotionless and his body was scattered in stitches and bruises.

You ran to his side sitting on the chair by his bedside, sobbing with your head in his lap. Most people would be scared to be near a brainwashed assassin, but you didn't care. You needed to be by him.

"Please don't forget," you muttered, grabbing his right hand in both of yours.

"How can I forget you, (y/n)?" You hear him say as you lift your head to stare into his crystal blue eyes. Pain was written all over them, but there was emotion which made you hopeful.

You jumped onto the hospital bed, hugging him as tears kept running down your cheeks.

"We met at the SHIELD party in the summer. You tried to downplay your beauty, but you couldn't fool me. You wore that white sundress, smoked a clove cigarette. You danced barefoot, and your hair was a mess. I coulda looked at you all day long." He said as memories of the night you first met ran through your head.

"You noticed me watching you, so you walked over and asked me to dance. I loved dancing, but I said no," he said.

"You were so nervous," you laughed.

"Was not!" he debated.

"Anyways," he said, " you kept dancing and I kept my eye on you."

"Stalker," you joke.

"Sam kept telling me to go dance with you and how I probably wouldn't get another chance, but I didn't. After a while at the party, I noticed you were distressed, so I walked over and asked you what was the matter," he continued.

"Stupid me lost her wallet," you chuckled.

"And your car was low on gas, but you had no money for gas," he said.

You weren't rich at all then, but SHIELD had supplied you with a new car; you drove a Jeep Cherokee.

"You told me you'd pay for my gas, if I'd go on a date with you," you smiled.

"You insisted we go on a date right that second, so we did. We stopped by a gas station, got gas, cheap coffee, and some Hostess cakes, and had our own little make-shift picnic at the nearby park," he said as you noticed his eyes glisten as he remembered the cheap date you had.

"I was always a cheapo," you laughed.

"We sat down, and I remember I tried to get you to sit to the right of me, but you insisted you sit on the left," he said.

"I remember hearing stories about how scared you were around people with your arm. I just wanted to make sure you knew I trusted you," you said, squeezing his hand.

"We talked, you tried to play like you're tough but you grew up by the beach. Said you hated the world," he laughed, "but somehow you liked me. I coulda looked at you all night long. I was so upset when you had to go home."

"I had to promise I'd see you again to get you to leave," you giggled, "and we sealed the deal with a kiss."

"How can I forget?"
