~Faith's POV~:

Tuesday came and Calvin and I barely uttered a word to each other. Only for important stuff.

We didn't argue much but when we did, it killed me.

Calvin walked me to my building like he always did but his eyes flickered when he said bye. Bad sign. In my first class, biology, I was insanely distracted. I had to stop this.

Study hall rolled around and I was teetering at the edge of the cliff. Rayquan poked me as Calvin walked into the library. "Go get em, but watch your temper." My fists balled up as he glanced at me but continued to Drayton and the rest of his crew.

I stood up and stalked over to them. I slammed my palm on the table causing half of them to jump. Calvin's jaw clenched as he looked up at me. "What, Faith?"

"What? Seriously? You know what."

"Not now."

"Yes now. I need to talk to you." He stood up abruptly and the anger was clear on his face.

"Why don't we go outside?" The librarian was staring at us intensely but I could give a fuck.

Now standing outside, I shoved him. "What the fuck is wrong with you? You've been giving me the cold shoulder all day! I apologize for last night but seriously, you're being a bitch. If I wanted to date a fucking girl, I would've. Next time, give me a heads up when you're goddamn period is coming." He gripped both of my arms rather tightly.

"Shutup, okay? You sound ridiculous. We've been dating for years now, you should know how I am. I overreact sometimes." There was no mistaking the apologetic look in his eyes.

"Is this really a thing that you have, though? Do I make you feel you stupid?" He shoved his hands in his pockets and looked at the ground.

"You're way smarter than me, ya know." I sighed and gave him a hug.

"That doesn't mean that you're dumb, okay? I'm sorry for ever making you feel that way." He smirked and laughed.

"I feel like a bitch." I laughed and laced my fingers through his.

"Don't, babe. You need to say something in the moment if you feel like that again."

"Mkay. You wanna go back inside? I still need help with that algebra." I bit my lip in a poor attempt to conceal the smirk on my face.

"Or maybe we can ditch?"

~

"Fuck." We both stared at the ceiling, breathless. What we had was unarguably amazing and I was happy.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I sat up to look at him better.

"No, really. I love you so much you don't even understand. What we have is the best thing that ever happened
to me. I been riding with you for 6 years now and I don't want it to ever end. People dream of relationships like this and I'm proud as fuck to say that I have it." Calvin pulled me on top of him, his hands on either side of my neck.

"I don't know why you being cheesy right now but my turn. You know why we got this so called perfect relationship? We fight and we argue and that makes us better. A lot better. Also because I love you, you're my one and only. I only got eyes for you. Honestly, Faith, no girl I been with was ever like you. I love you so much its surreal."

No words were needed for this moment. Everything was perfect.. for now.
