Chapter 19: A surprise

We didn't wanna stay any longer after the heart breaking news. The boys continue to tell us it's alright and we shouldn't think about it. But we weren't listening, I was just thinking about how hard we worked for this and how this doesn't seem right.

"Girls it's okay" Mark says in a comforting voice

"Yea you guys tried" Tony says

"But we weren't good enough to win" Vera says

"Don't say that, it's alright"

"But can you guys wait, I have to go. Nature calls" Jackson says

"Fine but don't stay long nature boy" Mark says.

We wait for Jackson for a while. Soon, we get bored and start murmuring about how Jackson is taking forever.

"Where is he??"

"I really wanna go" Ella said

As we are murmuring about how Jackson is late, he runs back with the host of the show.

"Hey guys I got good news"

"What??"

"The Vellas please you have to come with me, the judges want to see you" The host says

"What for??"

"Yea we already lost"

"Please just come" The host says while ruffling his hair in frustration.

"Let's give it a try guys"Ella said

"Fine"

"But if you wanna give us sorry candy, keep it" I say a little pissed.

We all walk to the stage with the man and people are staring at us confused. Probably asking the same question that's in our head' why are we here'

"When I heard your voices, I knew there was talent and even if you guys didn't win. Just know you are amazing" The first Judge says

"Yes!! I was quite impressed with your styles even in that kind of song which is a little bit slow" says the second judge

"And I could see the bond between you, trying to cheer each other up and relieve the tension" says the second judge

"And The Iconics won because of their dance but when it comes to singing, you were the best" says the third judge

"We don't want you going home thinking you aren't winners so we the judges want to give you prizes"

Screams and shouts from everywhere, a lot of people were clapping saying we deserve it.

"This prize is from the judges not the show, so congratulations to the Vellas"

I couldn't believe what I just heard, the only thing that came out of our mouths was THANK YOU. The boys were jumping and clapping, not caring about how childish they look.

"We told you, you could do it"

"Yipee!! so you guys are gonna remember us in your prize money right"

"Of course"

"Yeah thanks guys"

We went to the judges and thanked them. The previous sad moment was replaced with a lot of happiness.

Now this is right!!!

We dance all the way back to our hostel. Smiles on our faces, we were so excited and proud.

"I still can't believe this"

"I know right"

"I thought that was the end"

"But it was worth it"

"Yea and we had a lot of fun"

"But this is the last time we are doing this right"

"Yeah I mean that was somehow a lot of work"

"Yea but it was really fun"

"And exams are close"

"For now, its time to enjoy ourselves and relax"

"Yea totally"

"So what are you gonna use yours for"

"Don't know yet"

"Maybe shopping"

"What? Never"

"I will use it to buy chocolate"

"If you dare"

"Hey don't forget about the boys"

"Yea they will kill us if we don't give them"

"After all that shouting they deserve something"

"Do you remember how they were screaming"

"Yea like crazy peeps"

We begin to laugh, now it was a beautiful ending.

A big plot twist but I could never let my book have a sad ending. Hope you liked it. And the boys acted super crazy right??
