Hi, as I mentioned it in the previous "chapter" I am rewriting/editing the book. I will probably edit one chapter per day but it might be two or more on some days. I still have the original draft saved so if someone liked that better I can send it to them. Enjoy this new version of the story and feel free to let me know what you think.

Lilly's PoV.

I was silently walking home from the Agency. That day exhausted me to no end and all because I overslept in the morning, again. After that, the day was a complete disaster. It was like the world has gone nuts or something. I mean yeah, I get it. I work at the Alien Investigation Agency but it doesn't mean I have to endure this kind of crap. I would be okay with a spaceship sighting, but the missing surveillance video was a pain in my ass. Of course, by the time I returned the director went missing. No heads up, nothing. Not even a demand letter or anything. Just missing. And yes, there is no heads up before someone being kidnapped but...

"Sis, you're thinking loudly," Cloe said chuckling beside me. She was always the one for these kinds of things and I, well I was different. "If you want to, you can tell me what's bothering you" She was concerned but showed nothing of it. The only reason I knew she was, was the fact that my dampening bracelet was dying so I felt a faint smell coming from her.

"According to you I already did." I was more than annoyed but tried to show as much of it as she would have. Of course, I failed miserably. "You know, I just want a day, when I get up in time, go to work, sit at my table, make a coffee for myself, get a bunch of paperwork done, and go home. A normal, boring day."

"We both know, you would complain even than" Cloe knew me too well. "and besides. What more could you ask for, than the A.I.A?" She loved her work. She was born to deal with aliens, while I was born to... I honestly had no idea. All I knew was, what I was doing was way less than my potential. We reached our apartment and I opened the door while sighing and trying to express my feelings.

"I just feel like something is missing" The sentence was one that I have said over a million times in the last two years. The groan from behind me was confirmation of that. My sister was pretty much in control of her feelings, but when it came to this sentece of mine, her reaction was always the same.

"And, here we go again" she said. "Lilly. There is nothing more than the A.I.A out there. Or at least I don't think so" we went into the kitchen and started preparing food for ourselves. I changed my dampening bracelet, putting the one with the dead battery on charger. With the new, fully charged metal on my wrist, I became more relaxed and finally rested a little as I ate my portion of fried chicken. We both went to our room to get ready to sleep. After taking a shower and putting on my pjs I put my bracelet on the nightstand and laid down. Dozing off, I heard a name being called out like three times. It was somehow familiar yet unknown. Sara. I fell asleep with that name in mind.

I woke up early in the morning, just as I did every time we had a day off. Getting up I put my bracelet back on and went out to the kitchen. I decided to make pancakes for breakfast. Halfway through the process Cloe joined me. She poured some coffee for herself and sat down. Sipping her coffee she regarded me still unable to speak. I finished up the breakfast and gave her her portion before sitting down.

"So which film are we watching today?" she asked when she emptied her cup.

"The one titled Dragons and decisions" I answered. It was our little habit to watch a fantsy or sci-fi movie on our day off. It wasn't Cloe's favorite genre but ironically it was the best way that got us out of our world and let us relax a little. I sood up and went inside to start the film. By the time I found it on the drive, Cloe was sitting on the couch with two cups of coke and a bowl of popcorn. I started the movie and sat down beside my sister.

After an hour our eyes were glued to the screen. The movie still had forty-five minutes but it wasn't going to conclude soon. I didn't expect anything that happened in it and I was usually good at predicting what would happen in a movie. This one was different. Skye, the main character found a dragon and they became friends. The dragon could speak to Skye but no one else, which was weird in my opinion. Then the movie went on with Skye having to flee as the people around her didn't accept the dragon. Every ten minutes there was something that I didn't see coming.

"So that was unexpected," I said while turning the computer off when it ended.

"If you think about it," Cloe started, "Skye felt like she was enslaving the dragon the whole time so we should have expected this outcome."

"But we didn't" I pointed out. After that we started to talk about different scenarios and what we actually expected from the movie. Hours later, we were still sitting on the couch talkin, though not about the movie, when my phone rang. I looked at it. It said Private number, so I answered the call and said

"Lillian Waters" On the other end there was a busy envirement so I assumed whoever called me, was either in an office building or on the street.

"Tomorrow don't go to the Agency building" Agent Senders' voice started in a hurry. "There will be a helicopter waiting for you. The crew already knows where to go, but I'll send the location to you too just in case. We need to talk." Without saying goodbye, he hang up and left me with a confused look. I was fairly certain that he didn't tell me something but didn't think about it too hard.

"Who was that?" Cloe asked.

"Agent Senders. He will send a helicopter for us tomorrow morning. He said he will send the location to me but tha crew already knows where to go" my confusion rang clearly through my voice. Cole didn't comment but I was certain that she was just as knowing as I was, which was not at all.

For a few minutes we sat in quiet. I was thinking what could have been so important that Agent Senders wants us to go to sight immediately. To my horror, there were only two things I could think about. Either an Alien spaceship landed somewhere, or... I didn't want to think about that option, even though it was hanging in the air like the storms would. Finally, the phone ringing stopped my thoughts. I looked at the screen to see where we would be going the next day.

"Rainbow-Bridge" I read it out loud and as I glanced up I saw my sister tense up slightly. It wasn't a good sighn. "Isn't that the island we spent our vacation on?" I asked. I wasn't sure, though thinking about it I didn't think too many villages would be called Rainbow-Bridge on the world.

"It is," Cloe said with her usual command over her emtions. I couldn't bear it anymore, so I took my bracelet off to be certain that my sister does not tell me something.  A strong smell reached my nose almost immediately. It was guilt mixed with fear. Before asking, I put the bracelet back on to dampen my power.

"Cloe, what are you afraid to tell me?" she didn't look at me. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, as there was only one thing Cloe couldn't control her feelings about. "It was me," a said quietly though I originally intended it to be a question. Cloe nodded slowly as tears started to fall down her cheeks. I could feel my head swing with emotions as my eyes also filled up with tears. I now remembered what happened before I blacked out and it was even worse than the news I just received.
