At Least They're Alive

"You're taking, what?" Aether said.

"What? I can't be good at a mortal subject?" Reyna said.

"I'm taking AP Biology." Frank said. "Seems logical. I can easily turn into any animal."

"Geology." Hazel said. "I don't know why they have Geology, but, I think I'll be good at it, don't you think?" She asked sarcastically, and everyone laughed.

"We'll all this electives suck, so I'll take AP business." Luke said.

"Us too." The Stolls and Chris said.

"Oh my loyal children." Hermes said dramatically.

"I think I'll take Home-Ec too." Katie said.

"Chiron. Why don't you have a class for electives?" Thalia said.

"Yeah. I'd take that lesson any day." Jason said.

"Unless the school allows sword fighting, or pinochle as an elective, I'm afraid I cannot teach you anything but greek." Chiron said. "And latin. And mythology."

"Then why not Greek and Latin?" Clarisse said. "It's considered Language Art."

"But you already have Greek and Latin. Unless it's an AP class, it'll be considered a double class." Chiron explained.

"I'm taking AP Chemistry." Aether said.

"You're not going to study are you?" Reyna said.

"Nope." Aether said.

"I think I'll take one of the AP Science." Thalia said.

"Sure. Me too." Jason said.

"I'm gonna ditch." Clarisse said.

"Clarisse-" Chiron said.

"Fine. I'll take AP World History." Clarisse said.

"Why is most of the electives AP classes?" Percy asked.

"Because we're seniors." Annabeth said.

"Is there something not AP that I would actually take?" Alex said.

"I would suggest Marine Biology for the children of Poseidon." Hermes said.

"Neptune." Alex said, bored.

"Whatever." Hermes said.

"It's an easy enough lesson, since your father is the god of the seas." Chiron said. "And I think you'll like the teacher."

"Alright." Percy said easily. "Marine Biology."

"It's science." Annabeth said. "Mom's gonna love that." She mumbled.

"You kids better go." Chiron said.

"I have a class to teach!" Hermes said, as he jumped up and dashed off.

In less then a second, he already disappeared. God of speed. Running off to class. Passing through dozens of students. Nothing weird at all.

"You dad knows he's the god of speed. Right?" Thalia asked Luke.

"Let him be." Luke shrugged as he opened up a bottle of ice water.

"Today is the day we get to see the clubs." Piper said.

"What do you think we should do for the after school activity?" Sophie said.

"SLEEP." The Stolls said.

"You boys are so lazy." Katie said.

"Is that, mandatory?" Reyna asked.

"They have Archery." Thalia said.
