Coldness underneath her, made a shiver run down her spine.

The few things she understood were that she was sitting on a cold floor, her feet were bound together just like her hands behind her back.

Her cries were silenced by something pressed tightly on her lips, which she assumed to be a duct tape.

It was scary.

The tears were not something she could control.
They flowed like a waterfall drenching the cloth covering her eyes.

But still, through all of this, those dark eyes of his were the only thing her brain showed her.
The scene of him standing there doing nothing broke every ounce of hope in her.

Her chain of thoughts was broken when a jingling sound was heard followed by the opening of a door.

"Did you give her the dose?"

"Ehh.. no Sir..we were waiting for ma'am order."

There were a few minutes of silence.

Her body shivered on hearing what they were thinking of doing to her.
Dose? Were they giving her any drugs?
The very thought made her struggle in her bounds.

She will die before taking any drugs.

"Give her the second dose...she is gaining consciousness."

A heavy voice spoke with authority, making her shiver.

Her insides screamed in anxiety.
What are they doing?

What are they injecting?

Before she could understand much a cold gel was dubbed at her arm and strong hands held her elbow.

A slight pierce was felt and it was gone as soon as it came.

The grip on her arm loosened and unable to balance herself, her body fell on the concrete floor sideways.

With face now pressed on the cold concrete, she found her breathing becoming heavy.

A few minutes later, the duct tape was harshly pulled away from her lips making her cry in pain.

But surprisingly no sound left her lips.

It was like she wanted to speak, to scream but sadly only silence was what she heard.

Unable to understand what was happening to her, her heart started thumping in her chest.

Her child...this can harm her angel.
No this cannot happen!
Ashton will never let any harm come to her baby.
He can't be that inhuman.

Why didn't he stop them?

Why ??

Her thoughts were slowly fading away as her head started feeling heavy.

Her body started sweating profusely.
She could feel her loose t-shirt getting drenched in her own sweat.

To make it worse, the cold concrete underneath gave her chills.
She found her teeth clenching involuntarily.

It was like each and every muscle of her body was cramping.

Just like a person feels after running a marathon.

Explaining what she felt was next to impossible.
As even she herself couldn't understand it.

The only thing she could make out was that there was no escape from this.

How she wished to go to sleep right now, but sadly she had to suffer through it partially awake in this state of haze.

The turmoil continued for hours.
Her bound hands and legs were now released.
