The gate opened and Ye Jiao got the full picture of the school. It consisted of several large buildings. The main building has the shape of a box with four floors inside. It was also the place for students to go to class as multiple students could be seen walking in and out. The courtyard was large and there was even a place for the carriage to park not far from the main building.

The carriage stopped and the driver spoke to Lu Wan.

"Young Master, we have arrived."

Ye Jiao opened the door and walked out. She stood quietly by the side of the carriage and wondered whether she should crouch at the front. Some nobles have their servants acted as a stepping stool for them. Even though most of them were women nobles, there were also some males who did this practice.

As Ye Jiao didn't really have the complete picture of how nobles in this kingdom work, she was still wondering.

"Why are you daydreaming?" Lu Wan already got out of the carriage and waved his hand carelessly in front of Ye Jiao.

"Ah, I'm just thinking what I should do."

Lu Wan followed after Ye Jiao's sight and sighed. "You just have to stand by the carriage and close the door after I get out. Is that clear?"

"Yes!"

Ye Jiao hurriedly closed the door while Lu Wan stretched his body. For him, staying inside that annoying carriage was a torture as he hated to become a spectacle from Lu Family.

"You'll need to learn the rules if you don't want to have the servants watch you," Lu Wan remarked.

"I'll do that."

"Don't force yourself too hard," Lu Wan tilted his head. "I'll find a way to make my father ground me at home."

What?

While Ye Jiao was stunned at Lu Wan's remark, Mu Xin was making her way to them. She had seen the carriage from Lu Family arrive, so she could guess that Lu Wan must be coming over. After all, the carriage that Lu Su and Lu Wan used were completely different.

"Good morning, Young Master Lu Wan," Mu Xin greeted.

"Mu Xin," Lu Wan nodded politely. "Is there any problem?"

"No," Mu Xin's eyes were fixed on Ye Jiao. From the girl's complexion, she knew that Lu Wan didn't mistreat Ye Jiao at all. This made her feel glad.

"If you're going to criticize my behavior, I think it's time for you to stop. No matter what you say, I'm not going to change."

"You're as impolite as ever, Young Master Lu Wan."

The two of them looked at one another. They knew that they were just keeping up appearances as Lu Wan gave her an excuse to approach him. On the other hand, it has been known that Mu Xin was strict at rules, so she occasionally would reprimand other students if they misbehaved.

Lu Wan looked at Ye Jiao. "I'll be going to class. You can wait here or just walk around. The servants are allowed to walk around the area."

"I understand, Young Master."

Mu Xin passed a glance at Ye Jiao again, but she knew that it would be too eye catching if she talked to a servant. Sighing to herself, she headed to the class.

'I'll have another chance later.'

As the bell rang, the courtyard became empty. Ye Jiao leaned on the nearby tree as she watched the other servants talk to one another. They were already familiar as they used to escort their master or miss. This was the best time for them to relax as they just have to wait for their master.
