"Hi. I'm Levy." Responded the bluenette.

Lucy smiled weakly.

"Poor Natsu," Levy sighed, looking after him.

Lucy looked at her sharply. "Why poor Natsu?"

"Well," Levy hurried to amend her mistake. "Poor everyone, really. Including you. Though, to be honest, I think you've got the easier end of the deal, here."

"Nah uh." Lucy told her. "You are not distracting me from this. Why poor Natsu in particular?"

Levy sighed. "Still the same, aren't you? Let's just say Natsu was...rather closer to you than the rest of the guild and leave it at that."

Lucy nodded, unsatisfied with the answer, but sensing she wouldn't get anymore out of Levy. She opened her mouth to ask a question, but was interrupted by Levy.

"I'm your best friend." Levy told her.

"How did you know what I was going to ask?" Lucy asked, astonished.

"I'm your best friend." Levy repeated, smiling.

"I can see why." Lucy muttered, smiling back.

"Here," Levy handed Lucy a stack of paper.

"What's this?" Lucy asked.

"Your novel," Levy replied. "You finished it a couple of weeks before your accident. I've finished reading it and I figured it might help jog your memory."

"You mean I wrote this?" Lucy asked, flicking through the pages. "All of it?"

"Hai," Levy replied happily. "And it's pretty damn good too."

"Huh." Lucy replied, staring thoughtfully at the paper.

"Mira-chan and the doctor say you'll need to stay in the infirmary for at least two weeks, so they can make sure that there are no after effects from hitting your head."

Lucy raised an eyebrow at her.

"Aside from the memory loss, of course." Levy clarified.

"Levy-san, can you tell me more about the guild?" Lucy asked her.

"Of course, Lu-chan!" she replied. "First things first, you call me Levy-chan, hai?"

"Hai." Lucy confirmed, nodding.

Meanwhile...

Natsu walked out of the infirmary and straight over to the table he'd left Happy sitting on. He then proceeded to slump into a seat and place his head on his arms.

"Natsu..." Happy's expression was the complete opposite of his name.

"That bad, huh?" Gray sat down next to Natsu.

"Worse," Natsu groaned. "She doesn't remember a thing. Not even about her father being dead!"

Gray, not knowing quite what to say, settled for awkwardly patting Natsu's shoulder instead.

"What am I meant to do, Gray?" Natsu looked at him desperately, and Gray was shocked to see tears shining in his eyes.

"What we always do," replied a new voice, "go on a job."

The pair turned to see Erza standing behind them, eyes shining with determination and a smile of encouragement on her mouth.

"Well? What are you waiting for?" She asked them.

Gray stood, pulling Natsu up with him.

"I'm in." Gray said.

"Gray, your clothes." Erza sighed.
