Adamʼs pov

I followed Lawrence to the hospital part only for employees. All the way it was an awkward silence-- that made me feel kinda nervous, but I also felt something never felt; excitement.

“So um.. How like.. Long do you work here?” I ask, nervously rubbing my hand. “I mean-- you're so young.

Lawrence turned around with a serious face.

My heart skipped a beat.

“Yeah, um, I'd rather not to talk about it here.” He said.

I exhaled. “Of course, I-- you-- don't have to talk about it at all if it's making you un-comfortable”
I struggled out.

What the heck is wrong with me?
I'm never nervous..

And most importantly I never cared about anyone's privacy so much--

Lawrence began to laugh, he stopped hurrying and waited for me, so soon we walked next to each other.

“It's fine, buddy.” He said kinda sweetly.

And that's when we arrived. There was a lot of automates, for food and drink of course. It was kinda dark here.

I looked around and Lawrence walked to one of the automates.

“Whoa. It's cool.” I grinned.

He hummed for a second, I could tell he was smiling even when I didn't saw him.

“A latte, Adam?”

“Oh-- yeah, sure” I faced him.

He nodded.

“It's really--”

“Shh!” Lawrence turned around and I freezed.

I heard some voices, getting closer and closer, I wanted to turn around to see-- I saw security...that's when Lawrence grabbed my hand.

“Run, come on!” He burst out laughing at first.

we ran out of the big room, totally hand in hand.

I was laughing half of the way, and we stopped at a little cleaning room.

“quickly, in here!” Lawrence pushed me with him and closed the door.

Shiiiit” I laughed, I couldn't stop.

I never laughed so hard with anyone.

Lawrence was wheezing too, but quieter.

“Shh, shh!” He giggled and covered my mouth.

“Did you hear something?” One of the guys said. It was kinda late; I was Lawrenceʼs last patient.

I didn't care about the time now.
