Chapter 1: A Proposition

3rd Pov:

'I've wanted to touch the stars ever since Davies (oof, just the name is enough to bring someone to tears) death, I remember sitting in the grass, tears in my eyes as England walked away from me after explaining death and how humans will all eventually die. It tore me up, knowing I'll never be able to follow them until my country dies along with me.

I also remember that the blue flower he so desperately wanted- he also talked about the starts. He said he wanted to be up close to them and touch them, I know it may sound silly... but I wanted all his dreams that seemed unreal to come true, and I swore I would get his that flower and get him up to the stars. He just laughed and said it was impossible but hey, I'm America and I make the impossible possible.

I mean, I got people to fly! The first step to the stars and also someone else's dream- but that's besides the point. And then I was able to get to the moon! The moon! Not to mention beating Russia at the same time.

Russia... that reminds me of my new project. Now this one might as well be impossible but I'm not giving up on it yet! But it's a little too much for me to handle by myself so I need someone who will take me seriously on this. And that's Russia. Space has always been our thing, back when we were friends we talked about space a lot- hell! We raced to the moon! But we wen't on the greatest terms at that time, we still aren't, but maybe this will change things.

I want to colonize Mars. An entirely different planet. And I need Russia's help, I want Russia's help.' America (Alfred) thought and walked into the conference room with a more serious aura than normal. Bringing some attention to him self, Russia's specifically.

Russia (Ivan) smiled to himself and though about the last time America's aura was like this, last time in involved something everyone thought was impossible only to be proven wrong by the American- reminding everyone that America is not as he seems most of the time.

America strode in, briefcase in hand and walked over to Russia's seat. He placed the case on the table beside Ivan and began opening and taking things out- mostly papers but also a few pencils. Silently he did this as the anticipation grew from all the nations present at the meeting. Alfred made sure he was the last one to the meeting, but not late, to show everyone his current project.

Everyone new that whatever America had in mind was big- they just didn't know how big.

Alfred stopped and stood in font of the Russian, thinking and planing how he was going to ask him for help and trying to find the right words to not sound crazy.

"Russia." Alfred said and caused everyone's breath to hitch, but Ivan's smile only grew with the idea of something making Alfred so serious.

"Amerika." Ivan straighten up in his chair.

"I have a project, and I need your help." His response sent whispers to erupt in the room, Germany didn't even do anything to stop the superpowers exchange for he too was watching the interaction.

"And vhat might that be, it must be big to bring the mighty America asking me for help." Russia thought out loud and America made no attempt to argue on the supposed insult, bringing more whispers to appear.

"Yes, well, if it has to do with space I believe you will always be the only one to take me seriously and help." America stated. The whisperer continued.

"That is true, da?" Russia's response didn't sound like a question.

"Ivan. I need your help with something out of this world." Alfred smirked at his own wording- papers still in hand.

Ivan's excitement grew with Alfred's wording. "And what might that be?" He questioned, his smile widened.

"I wan't you to help me colonize Mars."

I'm sorry! The first thing I write in a week and it's a cliffhanger! Well anyway, yay! A new fucking book for me to write and finish fully aware it wont be finished anytime soon but will eventually happen. Okay that's all I guess. My back hurts now.
