Six Reasons for Revenge

Chapter 7

"Ryder!" Carson shouts as her friend stumbles from the tree line slamming into a ground as Carson runs over helping her up

"Did Rose make it?" Ryder questioned tiredly as Carson brought her over near the small pond, they were resting at but before they could sit Rose pulls her into a hug

"Thanks" She said wiping the tears from her face sitting back down as Ryder and Carson sat in the small circle

"No one get left behind" Ryder tells her leaning against Carson, her body sore and tired from running, the thunder grows louder and closer as the sky lights up, the wind picks up

"We need to find a place to stay" Skylar speaks up breaking the silence as a crack of thunder startles them all, Rose particularly being afraid of thunder, she grabbed her friends hand as they started walking, Where? They didn't know just far and quick... Montana was furious and was sure to be following there trail and she most likely is going to kill them the second she spots the girls, who slowly made their way further and further into the dense woods, not walking for nearly 3 days and then running took its toll on the girls

"I can't" Raine whines sitting on the ground

"Come on Twinnie we got to keep moving" Owyn tells her helping her back up the younger girl groans but just nods as they keep moving, at a much slower pace

"I got an idea" Carson says as the other girls sit

"I will climb this tree and see if I can spot anything" Carson told them turning to start climbing

"Car... that tree is dead it's going to break" Ryder told her tiredly, she climbed trees all her life and could spot a dead on a mile away the oldest girl didn't listen and started the climb up the tree, the other girls watched quietly happy for the small break as thunder roared in the distance

"Carson be careful" Skylar says as they watch her climb higher, she grabs a branch but a loud snap echoes through the woods, as she falls 15 feet slamming into the ground with a scream

"Fuck!! Ow ow ow ow oh my goooood" She screams as the girls run over to her, she's clutching her right arm closely to her chest breathing heavily, she has a few cuts and bruises down her arms and legs

"I think its broken" Skylar says gently touching her arm as she yelps in pain

"We need a make a cast till we can get it checked out" Skylar says as everyone starts looking around, they only found, vines, sticks and leaves but Skylar was going to make it work she quickly got to work as Carson cried out in pain

"My sides hurt" Carson tells their friends as Ryder lifts her shirt; 2 dark bruises have already started forming there was several cuts along her sides as well

"Uh sky" Ryder gets her friends attention pointing to the forming bruise, Skylar quickly feels along the area but breathes out a sigh of relief

"Not broken thank god" She says, and everyone lets out a breath before going back to there injured friend as the wind began to pick up as another crack of thunder sounds through the area followed by a flash of lightning

"We need to move" Owyn says helping Raine off the ground as Skylar looks at Ryder

"You got her?" Ryder just nods helping her friend up and supporting her as Skylar grabs Rose and they continue walking, what worries them is the faint barking sounds in the distance, which means Montana is on her way.

"We've been walking for hours" Owyn groans her body hurt and she was tired, a nap is what she needed, and food.

"We need to keep moving" Skylar says

"Sky we need to stop I can't keep moving" Ryder groans setting Carson down who looked beyond tired

"We need a place to rest" Skylar tells them looking around

"There is a cave over there" Rose says pointing in the directing, the followed her line of sight, sure enough there was a cave. It was not big but could hold all them and keep them safe from the storm that was getting closer by the second

"Let's go" Ryder huffs helping Carson up as they slowly make there way to the cave, but to get there they had to cross a large tree spanned over a fast-moving stream

"Uh" Raine watched the water closely, one wrong move and you were getting swept away from the fast-moving water

"One at a time, the log doesn't look sturdy" Skylar says as Rose moves across the log slowly, followed by Raine, then Owyn

"Sky take Carson" Ryder says passing the older girl to her

"Ry you sure?" Skylar questioned, she knew Ryder was scared she could not swim, and the girls were going to teacher her at the beach, but those plans were completely ruined, of course they did teach her some basics

"Yes, just get over there" Ryder told her as thunder roared in the distance, the wind was beginning to pick up stronger than ever as Skylar and Carson slowly made there way across the log, once they where across Ryder took a deep breath and stepped up, taking slow steps across the log her. Her heart was pounding in her chest, her eyes locked onto the water she shook her head and continued walking picking up the pace, there was a small cracking sound that caused her to stop dead in her tracks looking up at her friends just as the log gave way, she let out a scream grabbing the log so she didn't go far, but let our a painful scream as her knee slammed against a rock, the ice cold water pushing against her at a fast pace as she clutched the only part of the log keeping her from moving

"Ryder!" Her friends screamed she just held on her eyes screwed shut

"Ryder listen to me.. climb up the log" It was Raines voice she looked up to see her worried friend at the other side of the log

"You can do this Ry... focus on us" Raine spoke gently, for being younger she was certainly smart the older girl took a deep breath but slowly climbed up the log, the water slamming into her, little rocks in the water scraped against her, she kept moving, once she was in reach she grabbed her friends hands who pulled her on shore immediately as she held on them tightly, she was shivering but also shaking from pure fear.

"Come on... the cave is a little further away" Skylar said gently, she was exhausted but she was determined to get to that cave for a break they all needed, the girls slowly made there way into the cave and just in time as a loud crash of thunder sounded, heavy thick raindrops begin to fall at a fast pace

"We are in for it now" Owyn spoke, she naturally loved the rain... but today she did not want it.

Ay hello's a chapter for you? Ye it is. I will be swiftly working on the another but be patient. My very sleep deprived self has 1 brain cell trying her best to work haha

Also, I am POSITIVE some medical blah blah is wrong but oh well. That is not a me problem so...Enjoy!!! 

(THAT WHEEL WANTS RYDER AND CARSON DEAD AND I AM TRYING TO NOT SLAUGHTER THEM THIS EARLY OKAY!, It also wants Skylar hurt Sooooo prepare for that hahaha I won't say when tho)
