"you know i didn't really need coffee," ricky told nini as they sat down at an empty table in the corner of the cafe, "like five dollars for a cup of coffee? that's just absurd."
"do you complain about everything?" nini muttered while she rolled her eyes at the boy, "besides i believe the correct phrase is thank you by the way."
the curly headed boy gave nini a sarcastic smile and opened up his biology textbook, "thank you for the five dollar coffee nini."
"no problem bowen," nini happily said. she grabbed her textbook out of her backpack and once she read the cover her face fell, "so i kind of brought the wrong textbook."
ricky glanced at the girls book and saw that she had her ap statistics book instead of their biology book. he cocked an eyebrow at nini and grabbed her textbook.
"you're in ap stats?" ricky questioned. nini's face filled with red as she grabbed the book out of his hands and stored it in her backpack. as nini put her book in her backpack, ricky spotted an ap calculus book in there as well. he was shocked, to say the least. the boy had no idea how intelligent nini actually was.
"uh.. yeah kinda but it's not a big deal-"
"why do you do that?" ricky said in an irritated face. nini gave ricky a dumbfounded face.
