[ Maica's POV]
"Ate Maica? G-Gumising ka na po. Miss na miss na po kita ng sobra. K-Kuya Minwoo? Hindi naman po tayo iiwan ni ate Maica diba? "
Minwoo... JC...
"Your ate Maica won't leave us, JC. She's strong. S-She'll fight and wake up. Not n-now but not s-sure. "
I can hear faint voices and soft touches. I can also hear cries and whispers. Where am I? Why can't I open my eyes?
"K-Kasalanan to natin pa. Tinagurian tayong nurse and doctor and we can save others life but not our daughter. If only we came earlier then there'll be a possibility that it will not gonna happen. P-Palagi niya tayong kailangan pero wala tayo sa tabi niya. I can't forgive myself if something bad might happens to our daughter. "
Mama?
Nandito si mama sa tabi ko?
Nandito ang parents ko?
I tried to open my eyes but I failed. I groaned in frustrations and I don't know if they heard me. I stilled when someone held my hand tightly.
"Hey, hindi ka pa ba napapagod kakahiga diyan? It's been 3 weeks. I missed your smiles. I missed your laughter. I missed you. You're strong right? Then don't give up. I'll wait for you 'till you wake up. I want to hear you again saying how much you love me. I want you to feel how much I love you too. Wake up, love. "
Dahan-dahan akong nagmulat and my vision became blurry because of tears.
"M-Minwoo..."
"You're awake?!!! "
He wiped my tears kaya naging malinaw ang paningin ko.
Puno ng pagmamahal na nakatingin siya sakin at inabot ko ang pisngi niya para pahidin ang mga luha niya.
" I love you. "
I closed my eyes when he kissed my lips.
" I love you too, Maica. "
Bumukas ang pinto at pumasok ang mga magulang ko. I missed them so much. Nanlaki ang mata nila nang makitang gising na ako. Umiiyak na lumapit sila sakin at niyakap ako ng mahigpit.
"We're very sorry, Maica. Promise, hindi na kami aalis ni papa mo. We can't afford to lose you, Maica. Sorry. "
Umiiyak na niyakap ko sila pabalik.
"Makasama ko lang po kayo, okay na sakin. Miss na miss ko na po kayo. I love you, Mama. I love you, Papa. I love you, Minwoo. "
Nag-iwas siya ng tingin pero namumula ang tenga niya. Inulan kami ng tukso ng parents ko.
Thank you Lord God dahil hindi niyo po ako pinabayaan.
