"We'd better get going," said Faryn.

They got a black sack and put their dirty laundry in it. They put Amy's in there too, as she was now living with Faryn.

They went out the front door. Faryn locked it, and looked at the key.

"By the way, Dad knows everything. That I passed out when we had sex. That I get alcohol behind their backs. Everything."

"That's fine, baby."

They walked to Faryn's parent's house. It took about ten minutes.

Faryn knocked on the door. She didn't have a key. She didn't need one. She didn't live here anymore.

Brian answered the door.

"Hey girls!" he said, pulling his daughter into a hug. He then gave Amy a hug too. "Good to know that you're alright, Amy. Come in! Come in!"

He brought them inside.

"What brings you two lovebirds here today, then?" he asked.

"Laundry," said Faryn. She handed him the black sack with their laundry in.

"Bloody hell, Faryn! What have you put in here?!"

"I put Amy's in there too, 'coz she lives with me now."

"Of course, of course. Thanks for asking for permission, Faryn."

"You're welcome," Faryn said sarcastically.

"Anything else?" Brian questioned.

"We have a shopping list," said Amy, handing over the shopping list.

"You know you can put the beer on here, Faryn? I would get it for you, even though your mother doesn't approve."

"Really Dad?" Faryn's face lit up.

"Yes! Of course I would! I love the drink myself! You really are your father's daughter, Faryn!"

"You mean your daughter?" Amy teased.

"Yes, I do Amy. And may I just say that you're both looking amazing today?"

"Thanks Brian."

"Thanks Dad."

"You girls do have a very similar fashion sense. But with your own personal twist, evidently." He added, glancing at Amy's blouse.

"We like to look the part," Amy said proudly.

"Can I speak to you in private please, Dad?"

"Yes, of course Flower."

They went into the kitchen.

"What's up?"

"I was wondering if you could get another key cut for the beach house. For Amy. I want her to have a key as well."

"I'm sure I can manage that," he replied, smiling. "Why couldn't you say in front of Amy?"

"'Coz I want it to be a surprise, Dad."

"You really do love her, don't you Peanut?"

"Yes. I do really love her. That's why I asked her to live with me, Dad."

"I also wanna ask you something, Faryn?"

"What?" Faryn asked, looking at her father confused.

"Have you been stealing from me?" He questioned, raising his eyebrows suspiciously.

"Stealing what?"

"Money. Ten grand or so at a time."

"Maybe?" she answered nervously, expecting him to be mad at her.

Instead, he started laughing.

"You really are my daughter!"

"What?!" Faryn was really confused.

"I used to do that to my dad, baby. I'm so proud of you."

"I don't understand, Dad. Aren't you mad at me for stealing from you?"

"Nope," he said, grinning widely. "You managed to steal from me for months, maybe even years, without me noticing. My dad usually caught me a few hours later spending his money. Is this how you get your beer?"

"Yeah."

"Good on you, kid!" He chuckled loudly.

"I knew you had so much money that I could nick that much and you wouldn't notice. Every time I come here, I nick around ten grand. Except the last couple of times. When we came about Bill's foot (Which is actually broken), and the other day when I slept here with you."

"Ha ha!" Brian laughed. "By the way, it doesn't sound right when you say that you slept with me."

"That's what Amy keeps saying! She keeps teasing me about it!"

"Don't worry about it, kiddo. Thanks for coming clean."

"Okay."

"Don't be scared to ask me for money, Faryn. I've got plenty to spare."

He pulled out a few hundred pounds and handed it to her.

"Thanks Dad."

They went back to Amy, who was waiting nervously.

"Everything okay?" she asked Faryn, grabbing her hand.

"Yep!" Faryn replied cheerfully. "I just wanted to tell Dad about me being a thief. He's so proud of me!"

"I can tell you're being sarcastic, baby."

"No, he's actually proud of me. He used to do it to his dad, but wasn't as good at getting away with it."

"Wow!" Amy said. "Like father, like daughter, eh?"

"You said it, Amy!" said Brian.

"We'd better go get our beer, Ams."

"You don't want me to get it for you, Peanut?"

"Yes please. But we can still get some ourselves."

"Not legally, young lady. But you seem to be a pro at breaking the law."

He hugged Amy goodbye. He then gave Faryn a quick kiss on the lips, then pulled her into a big hug.

"I'll see you round, Amy. Bye Flower, love you."

"Love you too, Dad."

They left.

They walked hand in hand to the shop.
