Day of the contest

Lisa's POV:

It was the day of the finals and the chance to represent Korea at the World Hiphop Dance Battle is finally here. We are gathered at the Seoul KBS Arena right now to compete for the coveted National Championship. Umaga pa lang andito na kami ng buong team, we rode a school bus which had our School's name going here. Jennie will follow us here. I couldn't help but feel jittery about this whole ordeal, what if we choke this one again? We were hyped about this since our loss at the semi-finals last year, we worked hard as a team para sa taong ito ay manalo na kami. Pero I have faith in my team mates. We were on our way, lulan ng bus at ng dance coach naming si Miss Jeon Minju. I sat beside Rosé as she listens to her music, she bobs her head in a rhythm before she eventually looked at me and sighs.

"I feel giddy, Nalalisa." Rosé said.

"Kalma, nothing will stop us from winning." I said smiling to Rosé.

"Sana nga hindi tayo machoked up nanaman tulad last year." Rosé said.

Meanwhile Rabbit was busy flirting with Joy, Rabbit really had a habit of teasing and messing with Joy, pero kahit ganyan si Rabbit, she is a dependable friend. Magaling si Rabbit magsayaw, katulad ni Rosé, she sings as well. I watched everyone as I sat back in the bus, I took deep breaths to focus myself at the competition at hand, I have to do well today, because Jennie will be watching me. Kaipangan kong itodo ang pag-sasayaw ko mamaya.

These thoughts made me smile and quite honestly, excited to dance and show off what my team is capable of doing. We made sure to practice so hard for this year's chance to grab the National's for Korea and to represent them overseas. Korea had an awesome K-Pop Scene, where girl groups and boy groups have made a mark for themselves to the world. Last year was bad juju for the team, then Hiphop Dance Coach favored Kai's choreography rather than mine.

Last year din natalo ang Korean National team, kung kaya we need to step up our game if we want to qualify for the World Championship. This is what I have long been preparing for, a chance to show them that the Korean scene isn't just about K-Pop but it could also be about Hiphop Dancing. We were thirsty and hungry to secure this win. Nothing could stop us, that was the frame of mind I was in and before I could really think of anything else, we've arrived at our destination.

The venue is packed with competitors from all over Korea. May mga youth at mga medyo mature na, we fell in line to enter the venue's backdoor, KBS Theatre was the biggest stage we could ever have. I stood in awe right now, dahil sobrang dami pala naming mga finalist. Each one of the finalist was composed of the actual dance team and a glam team of 6 people, parang sa amin, we had a glam team of out own na composed of 12 people from the Fashion and Design department of our school. They were the ones responsible for dressing us and hair as well as make-up. They were the ones who created our costumes. We already saw our costumes three days before the contest. It was beautiful and cool at the same time.

We chose a camo pattern outfit of purple and black, the design team made them to glimmer under the light of the stage. I don't know exactly what material they were called, but the costume looked so dope and snazzy. Each one of the team had their own style as much as I had my own. Isa-isa kaming lumapit sa guard and presented to them the golden ticket each team had gotten from the Semi-Finals. Coach Sunmi handed our olden ticket to the guard, the guard smiled at us and told us "haeng-un-eul bibnida!" Which means Good Luck! in English. We all smiled and in chorus my team said "Kamsahamnida!" and bowed to him as we made our way into KBS Theatre.

We were led into the dressing room where hundreds of people must be inside, the place was packed, there were several other dressing rooms in here, all fully packed into their capacity, there were 20 teams competing today for the finals. Bawat team ay may iba't-ibang bilang ng myembro. We had 12 members in total. Probably the biggest team as of yet in history of this contest.
