[Digital Killer 06] Chapter 7 - Prison

Bai YuTang and Zhan Zhao waited in the special room for Wu Hao who was tied into a zongzi [1] by the restained suit.

[1] "zongzi/粽子" is a Chinese rice dish made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo leaves.

Wu Hao does not look like a down-and-out taxi driver who is almost fifty years old and he definitely don't look like a mentally ill patient. He wears a pair of glasses, looking very decent and quiet. If he is not wearing a special restraint suit, he is more like a teacher or a scholar.

He slowly walked into the special meeting room. Firstly, he look around, then walked straight to the seat in front of the table and sat down. He then raised his head and began to look at Zhan Zhao and Bai YuTang.

His sight fell on Bai YuTang first. After a short pause, he said in a very slow speed "... You are a very good police officer."

After looking at him for a while, Bai YuTang nodded and said "You are not a good driver."

Wu Hao smiled and turned to look at Zhan Zhao. His sight stayed on Zhan Zhao for a long time and finally shook his head "What a perfect piece of art, you are the most perfect creature I have ever seen in my life."

Zhan Zhao watched him carefully while he was examining himself. After hearing his words, he smiled and said "Thank you for your compliment. I would be happier if you look at me as a human."

Wu Hao slightly leaned forward and carefully looked at Zhan Zhao's eyes "Like two highest quality cat eyes, the colour of amber..."

"Hey!" Bai YuTang on the other side reached out and snapped his fingers in front of Wu Hao's eyes, interrupting Wu Hao's words "Sit back!"

Wu Hao slightly moved the corner of his mouth and sat back.

Bai YuTang opened the folder on the table and put the photos in front of Wu Hao's eyes "Look at this"

Wu Hao maintained a straight sitting posture, looked down and glanced at the photo, then smiled.

"You don't seem surprised at all!" Zhan Zhao suddenly said.

Wu Hao raised his eyebrows "Surprised? No... It is just an ordinary tattoos."

"Who told you that this is a tattoo?" Bai YuTang asked while laughing "Why don't you think it was painted with paint?"

The smile on Wu Hao's face was slightly stiff and then he asked "What's the difference?"

"Of course." Zhan Zhao tapped his finger on the table and said "Tattoos are not scrub-able and the paints are scrub-able. These numbers exist in a special place and the style is exactly the same. People who see this for the first time will never think of tattoos in the first place."

Wu Hao didn't seem to understand why Bai YuTang suddenly changed the subject and he couldn't react to it.

After listening to Zhan Zhao's words, Wu Hao suddenly became nervous. He shivered slightly and kept shaking his head "They can't... I won't stay in jail for all my life! I'm sick! I need treatment..."

Bai YuTang stopped the prison guard who came in with an electric baton and used his foot to kick the table in front of him. The table hit Wu Hao's chest. As soon as he fell down, he sat back on the chair, the pain in his chest made him lay on the table and coughed violently.

"Speak!" Bai YuTang said coldly.

"Keke... Say what?" Wu Hao is still struggling.

"Do you not know?" Zhao Zhao suddenly walked over "I am one of the best psychologists in the country. If I show a pathology certificate, saying that you are mentally stable and have no problem at all, guess whether the judge will be affected?"

Wu Hao looked up at Zhan Zhao in horror.

Bai YuTang placed the photo back in front of Wu Hao "You have two choices, either say everything honestly or spend your remaining life in the cell..."
