ALARIC

Getting ready for the war, I packed my things up and started to get ready here in my dormitory room.

I opened my wardrobe and stopped midway and decided not to use the white coat for today. I grabbed two coats that has a hood and hair ties to tie my hair up later.

I closed the wardrobe and saw my reflection on the mirror. My guts twisted as I see this feminine face. I wanna cut my long hair so bad. But Elzier wouldn't allow me so.

Tinalikoran ko nalang ang repleksyon ko sabay suot sa itim kong hat saka umalis na sa kuwarto ko while bringing up my cane and my leather bag.

Pagkalabas ko sa pintuan ay may bigla akong nabanggang isang babae kaya dali dali ko namang ibinaba ang mga gamit ko para alalayin itong babae.

To my surprise, it was Lady Ari!

"My lady! I apologise." Paghihingi ko ng kapatawaran saka pinatayo na ito. She has the same height as Ayesha.

Itinaas ko ang mga kamay ko at nag sesenyas sa kaniya. "I apologise." Ngumiti naman ito at parang natutunaw ang puso ko. I want to protect her. She looks so fragile and precious.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't looking at my way. I was in a hurry to meet Ayesha." Sabi nito sabay turo sa isang kuwarto na katabi ko lamang. Ayesha's room.

"All right then." Sabi ko saka nag sesenyas ulit sa kaniya. "Please be careful." Pagsesenyas ko saka yumuko na nakahawak sa hat ko.

Ramdam kong hinawakan ni Ari ang fabric ng coat ko kaya parang kumabog ng malakas ang dibdib ko. I don't know what this kind of feeling is but it feels weird and new.

"Please be careful on your way to your mission." Her expression is full of worry so I gave her a smile and brushed my finger on her cheek.

"Do not worry, my lady. I will come back for you." Sabi ko saka sumenyas, "don't worry about me. We're strong enough, we're not easy to get beaten up." I know she won't hear me with those words I let out from my mouth.

Her gold and blue eyes are so beautiful. Such flaws are so perfect in my perspective. She keeps staring at me with those beautiful eyes so I snapped my fingers in front of her and she flinched.

I remember, Ayesha also flinched whenever I snapped my fingers. I chuckle, "you're so adorable. I hope we could meet again." I said. I know too well that she can't hear anything.

I can't help myself but pat her head. Her fluffy curly white hair jumps like a pure white feathers from a dove and I finally bid her farewell by kissing the knuckles of her soft hands.

Lumakad na ako papalabas sa dormitory saka ngumiti. I can't help but smile everytime I think about her. I really have this feeling of overprotectiveness of her. I want her to be with me forever just to protect her.

AYESHA

Napalamon ako ng napakaraming hangin nang pumasok ako sa loob ng kuwarto ko at umupo sa sahig na nakasandal sa pintoan. What the hell was that?!

Ember knew me as Ari?! Nakikita na niya ako sa ganitong hitsura?! Why did she told me that?!

"Do not worry my lady, I will come back for you." Ibinaon ko ang sarili kong mukha sa mga palad ko saka sumigaw sa loob. Sinabunotan ko ang sarili ko, "ano ba kasi ang nangyayari? Saan ako nagkakamali? Si Alaric lang naman ang nakakakita sa akin!"
