As I said in my previous update for this book, it is on hold. However, that doesn't mean I won't give you all short previews of what is to come with the revising and editing!  There's going to be obvious differences in the original book, as well as more insight to Phoenix's past.  This series will also include tidbits of information from the book series, and by the book series, I mean the main three novels and the "fredbear (fazbear?) frights".  All of that aside, here is a preveiw of a part of this book.  This chapter will be deleted once the rest of the book is up, and this will be in it.  Enjoy.

_______

Phoenix's POV

I walk into the room, still talking to Bonnie about what I plan on doing to try and get them out of here, when I spot something and my blood runs cold.  I freeze in place, my eyes locked on the naked endoskeleton standing in the corner of the room.  Its ears are down, its eyes dull and half-lidded.  It's lifeless...but I will never be able to forget what purpose that it had.

I'm dimly aware of the fact that I've begun to hyperventilate, but I can't bring myself to tear my eyes away from the silver creation.  This one was not one of my father's, but rather, my uncle's.  All I can think about is that one day, that one day where it was my dad in control.  The day that Aunt Jen had taken Charlie away from this cursed town.

"Phoenix...?  Phoenix, can you hear me?  What's wrong?" I hear Chica ask, but I can't make myself answer her.  I hear my blood rushing through my ears, and static in a way.  I feel my heart pounding in my chest, and my entire body is tensed, as if I'm waiting for this lifeless body of metal to suddenly activate and attack.

Bonnie steps in front of me, finally breaking me out of whatever trance I was in.  Despite his face being mostly bandaged up, I notice immediately how concerned he is.

"Ph3on1x, wha-what's wr0ng?" he questions me calmly, his voice not glitching as much as it normally does.  I force myself into a calmer state and don't move other than closing my eyes.

"Y-yeah...yeah, I can hear you Chica.  I'm okay...I think?  Just...flashbacks..."

My six friends are staring at me expectantly when I open my eyes, obviously wanting either elaboration or for me to dismiss it.  I decide it's probably better to explain.

"Do you...do any of you remember who Henry Emily was?" I ask softly, still not moving from where I am.  Goldie and Freddy nod, and so does Foxy.  "Tell me who you think you remember he was."

"Uh... he had something to do with the company, and was your uncle." Freddy says unsurely, and I nod.  Foxy speaks next.

"He was Charlie and Sammy's dad, right?  And knew your father well, most likely."  Again, I nod.  Goldie now speaks, and he seems to be the one who knows the most, but definitely not all of the information.

"He was William's business partner, the original owner of Fredbear's Diner.  After we were killed...wait, wasn't he accused of killing us instead of your father?" He seems alarmed by this, as do the others.  I only nod before explaining more.

"All of you are correct.  I called him my uncle though we weren't genetically related, but there were many times he seemed more like a second dad to me.  Yes, Charlie and Sammy were his children.  My dad and Henry were best friends.  They went to school together, went to collage together, and founded the franchise together.  It all went to shit after you were all killed though.  Henry was blaimed because the property was in his name, as well as the fact that he was a lot more reclusive when it came to activities not involving the franchise.  After several years of that kind of accusation, a person will snap."

I finally move, walking around Bonnie and toward the creation that was not made by father, but by my uncle.  I force myself to stay calm, though on the inside I'm absolutely terrified of this inanimate creation.

"Sammy was killed by my father when he and Charlie were five, my brother three and I just a year old.  Charlie died not long after that."

"But we just saw Charlie several days ago!  You met up with her!" Mangle exclaims, and I smile slightly.

"You're correct.  But do you think that we're the only ones that can easily shift from animatronic to human?  No.  Far from it.  My uncle was so distraught by his children's deaths, that he found a way to break the system, a way to cheat death.  He used remnant from Charlie's soul and infused it with an AI, so she walks today.  But back to the topic at hand, to the explanation..."  I take a wavering breath.  "Three years later, when Charlie was eight...Henry killed himself.  Aunt Jen took Charlie away that day, and I only got to see her at family gatherings after that.  However...my dad...he was in control that day.  He picked me up from pre-school early that day.  I don't think I've seen him that upset since he found out he killed my brother...we went to my uncle's house to get the things that I had left there.  My dad tried to sheild me from the sight in the living room, but I had already seen it."

My friends look devistated at what I've told them, but I ignore that and circle the naked endoskeleton, hovering my fingers just over its metal frame, but I dare not touch it.

"Tell me who you think built this endo," I say suddely, and they seem surprised.  They stare at the endoskeleton for a while before answering.

"It...looks very similar to our own endos, especially Foxy's...did your dad build that one?" Chica asks softly.  I shake my head, and Freddy answers.

"Then Henry built it.  But...what is it for?  It's almost as tall as our suits are, and it isn't even in one.  It's quite large, but it seems so...dull.  What type of act would it have done?"

I let out a humourless laugh, confusing my friends.  "You would want this thing near children just about as much as you'd want my father near one, and for very similar reasons.  This...this thing had one purpose, and it carried out its mission years ago.  I'll never be able to get the memories out of my head, I'll never not look at this one and flinch.  Because unlike all of you, who have possessed suits and have used them for harm, this lifeless creation was programmed for nothing but harm..." I hiss out in a low tone, and Goldie is the first to speak.

"Pheonix, please, please don't tell me what I think you're saying is true..." he whispers out.  I put on a hate filled grin and turn my gaze from the endo's lifeless silver ones to Goldie's worried blue-grey ones.

"I know what you think I'm saying, and all I can say is that you're right, Gold.  My uncle programmed this endo for one purpose, and one purpose only.  This was his ticket out.  This endoskeleton, this blank, lifeless thing is what my uncle used to take his own life."
