Puppet's POV

I return to the prize corner, knowing those lucky humans will have to live for tonight.  But I don't understand why.  Why is she protecting them?  They don't serve any purpose.  But she apparently wants them to live, so I guess I'll have to deal with that.  She chose her path, and she's apparently holding on to it with an iron grip.

"Jack?  What's wrong?" my sister asks, poking her head out of the prize box.  I just shake my head.

"Nothing, Mari.  I'm just thinking about something."

She fully crawls out of the box.  "Would that something be our little Spark?"

"...yes.  I can't help but her this feeling that something's wrong with her.  I felt a shift in her spirit earlier...it was a dark one too," I admit, glancing down the hallway to make sure that none of the older spirits were listening in.  They're friends of our Spark, and if they find out any of this, they won't take it too well.

"What type of dark change?  Anger, fear, malicious intent?" Mari seems more attentive now.

"All of them.  Vengeful, fearful, angered, blood-lusting.  She's being irrational, but I can't get the reason why.  It's like her spirit's been blocked by something...and I can't break through."

Mari just nods, seeming distant.  Knowing the bell for the shift to end is about to end is going to ring soon, we both get into our spots of the prize area.  Mari in her box, me on the strings in the actual corner.

I hope that our Spark doesn't do anything she'll regret...

Goldie's POV

I've been left on duty to watch over Phoenix for now.  I'm not sure why I have to watch her, but it's better safe than sorry.  Foxy said it seems like she's been having nightmares lately, but she's been completely still with me nearby.  I have no clue why, but it seems like even if she's unconscious, her body still senses me as someone she can trust.

I slide a hand across her face gently, trying to keep her hair off of her bandages.  Something that surprises me though, is the fact that she whimpers softly.   I freeze where I am, and her eye flutters open.  As she focuses on me in the dim light, she gives me a half smile.

"Goldie?" she asks softly, her voice cracking several times.  I give the animatronic equivalent of a smile and nod.

"Yup.  I know that this is a stupid question, but how are you feeling?"

"L-like sh-it.  F-feels like I was tra-apped in a suit..." she mutters, sitting up.  I nod, then mutter 'give me a minute' to her.  She nods as I get up.  I walk to the other part of the stupid room we've been trapped in, and see that for once everyone's awake at once, and somewhat holding conversations.  They see me and look up.

"Golden, what is it?" Freddy asks.  I smile, even though my suit can't mimic what I do with my face for the most part.

"Well, there's good news!  Phoenix just woke up," I say, excitement in my voice.  I can tell that the others are doubtful, but all of a sudden, our raven-haired friend is in front of us.

She stumbles and nearly falls but I catch her.  She smiles to us, her visible eye glowing.  I sigh and sit her on the floor, knowing that if I just let her go she'll fall anyway.

Thanks, Goldie.  I would have been fine though, She says to us telepathically.  I roll my eyes.

"Sure you would.  Remember that your muscles weaken when you're in a coma, so I'd be cautious for now," I mutter back.  Phoenix sticks her tongue out at me.  "Very mature," is my response.

After a few seconds, Phoenix looks around at everyone, and I can tell that she's upset.  Apparently, so can the others.

"Phe, what's wrong?" Foxy questions.  Phoenix only shakes her head, frowning.  She then crawls over to Bonnie, who doesn't really react to it.  Phoenix waves her hand in front of his...face, I guess we'll call it, and he jumps.  Phoenix smiles before her hand lights up.  Healing Magicks.

After a few minutes, she takes her hand away from him.

"Try tra-ansforming, human fo-orm," she says.  Bonnie seems hesitant, but does transform.  And to our surprise, he isn't as bloodied as the last time he was in his human form, however long ago that was.

His face is covered with bandages, but one eye is visible through a gap in them.  And he's still missing his arm, but the sleeve is tied off with more bandages.

"What...?  Phoenix, thank you!  I can transform now without pain!" Bonnie exclaims happily, his voice mixed with a small amount of static.  Phoenix smiles wider and laughs, but it ends with her doubling over and coughing harshly.  But I notice a small amount of red spray into her hand, and she tries to hide it.

"Phoenix, move your hand," I say, my voice almost harsh.  It surprises her into doing so, and I'm right, there's blood on her hand and lips.  I sigh and snap my fingers, cleaning it away with my magic.  Huh...it worked?  Odd.  I didn't think it would but it's good that it did.

Phoenix rolls her eyes but thanks me anyways.  I guess we have to wait until tonight for some more entertainment, huh?

_______________

Heyo everyone!  Yes, I realize that this shall be a double upload today.  Not much action in this chapter, I know.  It'll be slow during the first few chapters but that's because I'm trying to figure out how this will go.  I have a lot of ideas for this story, but obviously not all of them will make it in.  Also, the double upload might have to wait until Friday. Well, see ya later, Spirits!
