Just to set the scene... I'd like you to know that I have no idea where I'm at.

So now that that's cleared up, let's proceed.

Wherever I'm at, it's pitch black. When I try to move my hand in front of my face to test if I can see it, I realize my hands are tied behind my back. My mouth has tape over it and my feet are tied to the legs of a chair.

So... I've been kidnapped?

Nice.

Maybe I can use my powers to get out of these ropes. I mentally list off what I could possibly use. My force field? I don't know what that would be useful for at the moment. Wire splicing? Not helpful in this situation. But energy blasts might be my ticket out of here...

I build up the energy within me and try to shoot the bolts of energy from my fingertips into the chair beneath me. By the time I realize the chair is made of metal, it's too late, and I scream out in pain as the electricity courses through my body in painful shocks.

Well that backfired.

"Beckett," An ominous voice comes from over head, and I jump in surprise. Maybe I didn't get kidnapped - maybe I'm dead.

"God?"

A loud sigh fills my ears, "No. It's Noah, you nimrod."

So what Emily was saying was true... our roommates are the bad guys...

"Where am I, Noah?" I grit through my teeth, frantically looking around to spot the traitor.

He lets out a deep laugh, "The Undergrounds. Where else would I take you?"

My jaw tightens, "I meant where am I right now? I'm tied to a freaking chair, I can't see a thing, and my jerk of roommate is too scared to talk to me face to face. What's going on?"

Suddenly, a light appears in front of me, and my eyes try to adjust and focus. Noah's face appears, and his perfectly sculpted hair and crisp white tee are illuminated by a single lamp. The glare of the lamp and the fact that I can see a slight image of my own face staring back at me leads me to believe that he's on the other side of a window.

Noah leans in close to the mic, "Hayes doesn't trust that you'll come through, so he told me to bring you here."

I roll my eyes, "What does that accomplish? Locking me away won't speed up the process of me bringing her in."

Noah slams his hand down next to the microphone, "Don't play dumb!" I jerk back in my chair. I've never seen Noah lash out like this. "We know you're working with Jenga. We know Emily is Jenga and you're one of her sidekicks. We know you're the one who busted her out. So just stop playing games, Beck," His eyes are wide and he's speaking so fiercely that I'm surprised I can't see any veins popping out on his face.

I look down at my feet, trying to avoid his accusations. I knew it wouldn't take long for someone in The Undergrounds to piece it all together, but I definitely didn't expect to be blindsided like this either. What would Emily have me say?

"So why did they send you? You're not a super, you're just dating one."

He scoffs, "Because I know where you live. Duh."

He got you there, Becky.

I shake my head with a sly smirk, "What're you going to do to me though? You're powerless."
