I check out the trailer to see if the drama interests me.
Watch the MV on YouTube to see if it really really interest me.
Then check for reviews on Mydramalist to see if it's worth my while. I have to filter what I watch because I have a life and in a day I only got 24hrs, so do you.

Avenue X This woman is a drama junky who shares her reviews, insights on Chinese culture and also explains the reasoning behind some scenes in dramas. What I like is she has worked in the drama industry, so she knows a lot about filming and what she is talking about.
Marcus Sim This one helps me keep track of what's going on in Chinese dramaland.

Iqiyi Better with the ads, can survive using it for free. If you are a patient person, that is. They limit the number of episodes released to non-subscribers when the drama is new.
