Thoughts
Temptations. Chemistry. Yearning.
Before this drama, they hadn't been any Taiwanese drama that took much of my attention, so when I found myself up at 3 am in the morning, laughing and unable to stop watching this, I was indeed surprised.
The biggest thing I learned from this drama is not to judge. I mean... I don't condone cheating but this had me understand and experience the confusion one could feel when put in a position where they already have someone, then this person who seems to understand them better or make them feel something different steps into their life.
It got me asking myself what would I do if those circumstances existed. (Obviously must do the right thing)
The male lead was a heartthrob who just knew how to win my heart. His dimples were a tease to the butterflies in my stomach. I have to give it to him that his acting was exceptional and had a way of playing with my emotions. You could feel his feelings for the female lead, the pain of seeing the girl he loved belonging to another man, and his sorrow to be locked in a relationship with a woman he had no feelings toward anymore due to her deceit.
The female lead was all right. I don't remember relating well with her, but she did manage to pull off her role particularly well.
I loved the best friend to the female lead. Oh gosh, she was funny and exceptional. She was a woman who was such a great friend and character. It was so hard not to laugh when she was on screen. I wish I could live life as carefree as she did, honestly.
Rants?
Sometimes the female lead got on my nerves. What she would choose to do at times, I felt it was hypocritical to the guy she was currently with. It was actions she would do to make herself feel better or justify things concerning liking another guy.
Would I watch it again?
Not really.
