Well that's my new favourite quote because I've never been more sure of writing a story.

Anyways there are a few things you should know before you read this story.

But first of all thank you for giving this a shot. My first language is not english, so if you see any mistakes you can kindly point them out. I appreciate corrections and I love criticism. Just please don't hate, there are times when I take comments way too serious. If you don't like it, stop reading. Thank you!
Despite that I'm in grade 11, taking an A-level English course and I read and watch mostly english books and movies/series, I'm no expert when it comes yo writing, so hopefully my english is good enough for you :)

In addition I also use two different styles of writing, one where I tell the story in present and one in past tense. I read a few comments and tips about this topic and realized a lot of people actually prefer past tense, so even though I kind of regret it, I switched a lot to past tense. Maybe it is easier to read this way. Well everything that is written from the male main character's pov. The female's pov will still be in present. I hope it is not too confusing for you but I did it because of the way they both reflect the past. It makes a big difference and I hope you all get what I'm trying to convey with this method.

Here a few things that you should be prepared for:
- there are two pov this story is told from, one from the male main character's pov  and one from the female main character's pov. Mainly because in this story it is important to know what goes on on both sides. I just can't leave them out as the plot is rather complicated I guess ;)

- there is going to be violence and blood will be spilt. If you are uncomfortable with that, no problem. I will put a warning beforehand, so you can simply skip that part if you are grossed out or feel uncomfortable (I will put exclamation marks '!!' before those scenes)

- the same goes for more mature themes. There will be a few of them, I still haven't decided to what extent but you will come across some steamy scenes :)

- in addition I will put trigger warnings as this book also deals with more serious topics like sexual harassment, suicide and depression (no it's not a big part of the story, just some snippets)

- from all the different stories I read I can say that for some the process might be a little bit slow, mostly because there are a lot of things that are coming your way but I think it is enough to keep you on your toes. I'm a big fan of suspense. Especially the female lead is an interesting character. Please be patient because you will gradually see process through the whole story. And she will definitely have a character improvement.

I don't know how to do this properly but this story is mine. Just know that plagiarism is a crime. I don't want anyone copying my story nor the storyline as I put a lot of thought into it. I worked really hard to find something that hopefully hasn't been done before. So please don't steal my work.

Updating schedule
When you see this the prologue is already up. I posted it on the first of June.
I will post the first official chapter on Sunday, June 7th. From then on I will post regularly once a week, every Sunday.
I live in Europe, so I still go to school everyday despite the Corona Virus being out there. I'm also writing exams, that's why I can only update that much. If I don't post a new chapter, check my board because I already wrote ahead, so I won't have too much pressure on writing a new chapter every week.

Information about mythical beings
Not every werewolf or witch story is the same, so mates, hierarchy, pack laws and all that is different. Healing abilities, strength and heightened senses are all different as well. The mate bond also varies. I will probably write a note about how things work in my story if some people aren't sure. Most of them should be explained as the story goes on. But there are also other mythical beings that make an appearance. They won't play a big part in the story though.
If you are confused, don't hesitate to ask.
