Gulf POV

Right after the full moon ;

After parting ways with the vampire that night, My rut began all of a sudden, going home i met boun inside the mansion— brows furrowed and hands on the bridge of his nose "Boun?" I call out his attention and to my dismay he only looked at me with eyes full of mixed emotions, i don't know how to read them, it was as if he is mad, sad and disappointed. "What's wrong?" I asked him "You ask yourself that" Perth says coming out from the kitchen with a drink on his hand "Why were you even two out in the woods? is there something i should know?" Perth asks looking at me and then to bound "What? No. We were uh.. we just went for a run" I lied

"So, you say you both went for a run and boun says you both went for something? You guys sounds suspicious" Perth says in a rather suggestive tone

"What does that even mean?" Boun asks annoyed at Perths' remarks and I could only look away, afraid that i might get caught lying, hands on my abdomen because to be fucking honest my rut is hurting like a bitch, as i was about to sit beside boun on the sofa.. "Wait! Are you two dating?!" Perth whisper yell which caused boun to choke on air if that's even possible "What the hell? No we are not! Besides im dating someone!" Boun says before slapping his own mouth "Wait what? you are?" I ask him, shock at his statement Perth sits on the table and now boun's in question. 'ah just about time i get away' I mentally cursed myself for thinking like that but its better for Perth not to know, at least not now. Perth bombarded the other a lot of questions regarding his love life and god, the way boun describes this someone of his, he is sure one lucky guy. Boun was always playful and he never actually gets anyones name because to him, one taste is enough. settling for one is boring but look at him—Boun has this wide smile and his eyes sparkles as he talks about his beta "He is really cute too you know? His chubby cheeks when he smiles and laughs, his hands, his talent for music and then, god, have i ever mentioned how caring of a person he is?" Boun continues to ramble about the so-called love of his life and Perth was actually entertained, for the first time again, he didn't despise the topic of love but instead he had a smile on his face showing how happy he is for Boun.

As i made my way on to the stairs, my vision get blurry, my head was pounding too and the next thing i know everything was dark pitch black.

The next day,

"He has been sleeping all day. His fever keeps on getting high and we have changed his clothes for thrice already because of his sweat" I heard Perth, my brother explains to someone and then i felt a damped of wet towel on to my forehead, I slowly opened my eyes only to be met by the bright light of our ceiling "A-ah" I moaned in pain as i try to sit up on my bed but my lower abdomen feels throbbing and as if being hammered "You're awake. Here, drink your suppressants. You should've told us your rut was coming" Perth hands me the pills

"Isn't this rare? You only get sick on your rut or heat if you have done something intimate you know with anyone such as i don't know someone you date? But our baby brother here is a lonely single wolf" My sister Mild says sassily not even missing to say something insensitive / but jokes on them im not single anymore. /

"For the love of God, Mild can you please save up your insensitive ass jokes later?" Perth says before slamming back down beside my bed "Will you be okay alone? I need to go see Dad" Perth asks one more time before glancing back to Mild who just rolled her eyes and walks away—My siblings are always annoying but don't get me wrong, our sassy sister Mild may be a head ache but she's our princess and dad's favorite too.

I really feel guilty for being sick, Perth is probably in charge of my supposed works today. I decided to not slack off tomorrow and try my very best to help out with the pack trainings.
