Part 24 - "Just Move On..."

Hey guys, here with another update. Sorry for being late, just not feeling good lately, and kinda busy with stuff. I will be updating but they might be late as they've been. I'll try my best to do it regularly and sorry again for making u wait.💕

A few weeks go by and Sana's treatments continue. She was improving a little, looking at the reports but she didn't feel it. She felt sicker than ever, she would be sitting at home all day, fighting the thoughts that she feared the most.

Sidharth also locked himself away from the outside world so he could be with sana, to take care of her and be there when she needed it the most. He wasn't working, ignoring his friends, it was like nothing else mattered. He was happy in his little bubble, spending his time with the one who was everything for him.

Sana was walking back from the washroom and she overheard sidharth talking to someone from work. He was straight away denying a project. She knew he kept getting these calls and he never payed heed to them. She was frustrated and guilty, that he was not living his life like he should and was stuck with her. She was having all sorts of thoughts and she walked back to the bed, pushing them away.

Sidharth walked back into the room and noticed sana was in a mood. He mostly saw her lost in her own world but this was a little different, there was fear and worry on her face.

Sid - "Shehnaaz kya hua, kya soch ri hai"

She didn't reply, lost in her thoughts. He let it go and got into bed after finishing what he was doing. He sat beside her and tried asking again. She was behaving weird from the past few days and he couldn't ignore the look on her face.

Sid - "baby, tum thik ho na" as he puts his arm around her

She looks at him with guilt on her face and just nods making him worry more.

Sid - "kya soch ri ho"

She tries to look away not making eye contact but after a long pause mumbles "I'm sorry", keeping her eyes away from his.

He's taken aback because that's not what he expected. He holds her face and turns it towards himself.

Sid - "kya ho gaya baby, aise kyo bol ri hai"

Tears run down her face and she just breaks down right there. he hugs her, pulling her closer to his chest and tries to calm her down.

Sid - "Shehnaaz plz relax karo, stop overthinking" as he rubbed her back trying to calm her.

Sana - "muje Acha feel nai ho ra, bohot ajeeb feeling a ri hai" as she tried to share her thoughts.

Sid - "kuch nai hoga tu fikr kyo kar ri hai" as he hugs her tightly.

Soon her fears turned into words and she blurts out what's bothering her mind.

Sana - "Sidharth I'm sorry tume ye sab ki waja se problem ho ri hai. I think you should start going back to work"

Sid - "I have to stay with you, jab tak thik ni ho jati, Baki sab bad me dekhe ge"

He understood where it was going and tried to avoid the conversation but she continued, louder than before

Sana - "No you don't have to stay with me, just live your life dammit, just move on...mera jo hona ho ga ho jaye ga"

He was shocked at what bothered her, He looks at her in disappointment and turns away and lays down facing the other way.

She regrets those words the moment they came out, it was the fear talking and sidharth understood that but he was still disappointed.

She laid down next to him and hugged him from the back.

Sana - "Sidharth I'm sorry....mera wo matlab nayi tha"

Sid - "it's okay Shehnaaz, so jao" he didn't want to put more stress on her by being angry at her but he didn't talk properly too.

Sana - "Sidharth ider dekh na please I'm sorry" as she tried to turn him towards herself, but miserably failing as he wasn't so easy to move.

She keeps trying but then gives up, she holds his arm tightly and hugs it pulling him towards herself. He felt bad so he quietly turned himself facing the ceiling, letting her hug him the way she wanted. They sleep in silence, not talking to each other, one disappointed and one with regret and guilt.

The next day was important for them, the doctor was gonna tell them if surgery was to happen, and how critical it would be. Last night's argument, or more of a silent treatment from sidharth continued. He got her breakfast and helped her get ready but wasn't talking to her.

While grabbing a few things before leaving, sana apologized again.

Sana - "sidhaaartthh, please bat kar na, ab tu bat ni kare ga, Maine sorry bola na, ab agar muje kuch ho gaya hospital me to tu kya karega....last time bat bi ni karega....." she just mumbled what came to her mind and said everything. But before she knew it sidharth pulled her from her waist and just kissed her, stopping all the nonsense that left her mouth.

Sid - "chup kar jao meri maa, kitna fazool bolti ho" as he moved away from her.

She looks at him with a baby face and says sorry again, to which he couldn't resist hugging her.

They managed to leave behind all their issues and left for the doctor as the happy couple they were. In those moments, she was relieved from all the stress and happy being with him.

They arrived at the doctors and got her routine checkup done, they impatiently waited for the doctor to come with some positive news, since results from previous weeks were good.

The doctor walked in with a happy face and informed them about her improvement. Surgery was still not out of the options but it wasn't gonna be as critical as they thought it had to be. Her tumour reduced a lot in size which was gonna make the surgery less critical.

They were happy but still scared at the same time. The nurses prepared her for surgery and she met sidharth before she was taken into the ICU.

Sana - "I love you" as she held his hand tight, with her eyes teared up.

Sid - "I love you too baby" as he put his other hand on hers, giving her the remaining strength she needed. He also had teary eyes but he tried to keep up a strong face for her.

They took her into the ICU and the light turned red as they started with everything. He didn't want to be alone so he called his mom and shehbaaz to the hospital, to keep him company. He was worried, more scared and he wanted someone to be there for him.

He walked back and forth infront of the door when they took so long, he was getting restless and sweat started to form around his forehead with all the stress. Finally After a long wait the light turned green and the doctor walked out.
