Won't Let Go

Part 4 - Insecurities

The next day they shoot a romantic scene in the swimming pool. The practice last night was very helpful and Sana did the scene very beautifully. Everyone praises her as they all found out she had a phobia. Sidharth hugs her and tells her she did a great job.

Sidharth and Sana started spending a lot of time together. They would fool around when they were alone. Sneaking out in between breaks became a habit for them. They would go to cafes and have endless conversations. Sidharth always used their alone time for some cute romance and showered her with kisses. This went on for a week but sana started having her insecurities, because sidharth was a different person when he was alone with her and was very different in front of other people. He was avoiding talking to her and he would laugh at jokes co stars made on her. This made her think he was embarrassed of her and didn't want to accept her in front of his social circle. Truth was he didn't want anyone to judge their relation, because he himself didn't know how he felt about her, so he kept that away from everyone, not giving them a reason to say anything.
She feared being one of the many girls sidharth has been with. She didn't want to be one of those. She wanted her own place in his life which was different from any other.

Sid goes to her vanity as always after shoot. He notices she's a little sad and asks her
"kya hua baby".
She doesn't give a reply, but gets up and hugs him tightly. Sidharth surprised by her behaviour asks her again. She still doesn't answer. He moves her back a little and cups her face asking her again.
Sana somehow gathers some courage and spills out all the insecurities inside her.
"tu meko leke serious hai, I mean ye sab jo hai wo" being straight forward.
He could sense the insecurity in her voice and the fear of loosing him.
By now, sidharth forgot about his bet with his friends and he was spending time with her because he genuinely felt attracted towards her. He had a very different feeling for her.
Sid – "han meri jaan, aise kyo pooch ri hai"
Sana – "to tu meko sabke samne ignore kyo karte"
She tells him that she feels like a dirty secret of his that he wants to keep away from everyone.
Sid gets annoyed and hurt at what she thinks because that was never his intention and says "Shehnaaz tum pagal ho kya, kitna sara hua hai tumhara dimag, aur abi hum chize figure out kar re hai to it's better jaisa chal re waise hi rahe"

Sana – "sidharth muje logo ko batane ka shok ni hai lekin jab tu unke samne mere sath ajeeb behave karte tab bohot ganda lagte. Tumhari bi galti ni hai mai zada serious ho gayi teko le ke I think thora space dena chahiye hume ek dusre ko".
Sidharth is just sitting there listening to her allegations. Her insecurities make him realize that he started it off because of a bet but now he feels something different. He wants to say so much but he would only be able to if he knew what it was. He was going through a lot in his head that he ignored the fact that she said to give a little space to each other.
She waits for his reply but he doesn't respond disappointing her, and she leaves.
