Where it all Started: A Modern World CS Story

Chapter 3

"Thanks." I say as I pay.

I walk over to the counter and pick up my hot chocolate. I walk back over to sit and down and see Killian sitting there. I walk over slowly so I can take in all of his fucking good looks. He suddenly turns around and catches me staring at him. I blush slightly and he chuckles.

"What?" I ask curiously knowing what the answer is going to be.

"Well you were staring at me again... You do that a lot."

"Sorry." I say as I feel my face blush even more.

"No it's not a bad thing its endearing." He says while smiling from ear to ear.

I role my eyes slightly and sit down across from him.

"So, do you wanna talk a little bit about ourselves."

"Sure."

"You start." We both say at the same time. We both laugh quietly and I say,"Alright I'll start."

I end up telling him everything about my childhood. Everything from my parents leaving me, all the foster homes, adoption centers, and finally Henry. I didn't tell him about jail or neal though.

"Thought I should get it all out there if I wanted to get to know you." I say. "Your turn," I say as I wiggle my eyebrow.

He giggles and then starts talking. he tells me about his childhood and how his father left him when he was younger and all his father left him and his brother was a boat. Then he told me about how his brother died a while ago while on the boat. And he finally told me after that he went through a dark time. He stole everything and wronged some people.

I nod my head and say,"Its rough loosing someone isn't it?"

"Definitely." He says.

I start to tear up a little. Shit!

"What was that." He asks me. Crap I just thought out loud.

"Oh nothing sorry just getting a little emotional." I whimper as he gets up to get me some napkins. He comes back with a few as I wipe my eyes.

"Thanks." I whisper.

"No problem." He says. "It happens to me all the time don't worry about it."

I smile slightly and we start talking about what we like what we don't like and laughing about some things. After 3 hours I look at my phone and realize I was out later than what I told henry.

"Oh! I think I need to be getting home."

Hooks POV

"Oh-Uh-okay." I stutter.

We get up and throw out drinks away. We head to her car and are about to say our goodbyes when I say."Wait, my cars in the shop and I was wondering if you would drive me to my place." I lie. I don't have a car actually I usually walk, take the bus, or a cab.

"Of course." She says and then smiles.

I give her directions and when we get to my place she opens her door and gets out as well.

"I'll walk you up."

"Oh- okay." I say nervously

When we get up the stairs to my apartment I say,"By the way you probably shouldn't tell anyone about this.. You know I could get fired."

"Do you want me to switch out of your class so we can be together more?" She asks

"Um.. But then I wouldn't see you 5 days a weeks for 1:30 hours."

"Ugh fine."she giggles.

I'm about to go inside when she pulls my wrist and suddenly kisses me. I go weak in the knees almost because it was so intense and spontaneous. We kiss a little longer than I expect but I don't complain. When we finally release I realize she has me pinned up against the wall.

She bites her bottom lip ,"Wow," She mutters.

"Do you wanna come in?" I ask tentatively.

"Save more for next time." She winks and starts to "hop" down the stairs.

I open my door all the way and step inside. When I close the door behind me I feel my lips and realize that this might be the woman I was looking for.
