"Loki release Araceli," Fury says.
"He's not hurting me," I quicky say.
That partially shocked not only them but me. It just came out. It's the part of me that doesn't want to let Loki go. But Loki doesn't listen. Pfft, Loki listens to no one.
"Ah my dear Fury. Why would I let this lovely person go," Loki asks.
"So we know she's safe," Fury retorts.
I'm about to say something again. But quickly stop myself. For some reason Loki made his spear dissapear.
"But she is safe in," Loki trailed. I wonder what he was going to say.
"I'd feel better if she was on our side," Tony spoke.
"Fine then," Loki replied.
I looked at him shocked. He never would have given up that easily. Tony had a cocky grin on his face. Like he was a champion or something. That kind of annoyed me. He's acting like he's outsmarted him. Which he hasn't. Loki removed his arm. I was hesitant at first to walk over there. Then the next events happened quickly. There was another expolosion. During that someone shielded me from it. I'm tightly held against someone. They're arms are wrapped around me. My head is buried against their chest. My body is burning up from this person's touch. I look up to see who my protector was. Again it was Loki infront of me. He staring down at me. His dark green eyes are filled with worry and concern.
"Are you alright," he asks.
"I'm fine," I respond.
Loki released me and turned around. His back is now facing me. He made his spear reappear. I look over his shoulder. I must've gotten taller if I can now see over his shoulder. A year ago I couldn't. Everyone is sprawled across the floor. The first one to get up was Bruce. He ran up to us. It's probably that big brother instinct. Or the instinct to stop Loki. Loki beat Bruce down. Then put the spear on his chest. Bruce's eyes turned black for a second. Loki is using the mind control gem. Bruce got up and stood next to Loki. Then Loki picked up his helmet, dusted it off, and put it on. He began to walk away.
"Loki don't do this," I plead.
He didn't listen. All he did was stop for a second then kept walking. Bruce followed him.
"I love you," Loki whispered.
"I love you too," I whisper back.
Then the adrenaline kicked in. I ran after them. Before I could get to Loki, Bruce swung and back handed me. I went backwards. My head hit a wall. Some agents ran after Loki. It's no use. Loki is going to still come out on top. I groaned in pain. Everyone else starts to get up then. They dust themselves off. Thor runs over to me. He kneels infront me.
"Araceli are you alright," Thor asks.
A groan escapes my lips. I started rubbing my head. A small bump is there. Thor cups my face with his hands. It stings from where Bruce hit me. I cringe, Thor frowns. He makes me stare him in the eyes. I search in blue eyes. There's worry, concern, and guilt. Why is there guilt? I should ask him about it. Those three things are in his blue eyes. Man, his eyes are beautiful. I've never really noticed that before. Sure, I've known his eyes are blue. Now they just seem do beautiful. There's even a sparkle somewhere in there.
"Araceli are you alright," Thor asks, snapping me out of my gaze.
"Huh," I ask.
"Are you alright?"
"It's nothing."
"Well it doesn't look like nothing." He says stroking the side Bruce hit. It hurts but soothing at the same time.
"Can you please just leave it?" he frowned.
"You're going to have a bruise."
"I know."
"Thor, you have a very aggresive brother," Tony states.
"He has never been aggresive," Thor mumbles.
"Where is he," Natasha asks.
"He left with Bruce," I say.
"How," Steve asks.
"He used the mind control gem," Thor says.
"He got away with the tesseract and a handful of agents," Fury says.
"What's that," I ask.
"It's a cube with possible unlimited power," Steve says.
"Well that's just great," Tony mumbles sarcastically.

We're now at a different S.H.I.E.L.D. base. It's deeper in the city. Fury had us put here while things get sorted out at the other base. We have our rooms and everything already. Everyone else is doing whatever. Most likely sleeping since it's getting close to midnight. I've been in my room since I was told which one was mine. That caused me to miss dinner. But I wasn't hungry. Since the events earlier I've kept to myself. Everyone tried to get me talk but I wouldn't. Not in the mood to. They probably think I'm building up walls. And not letting anyone in. But that's not it. I don't want to talk about what happened. So I just went to my room. I'm in my room with my back against one side of the bed. A bouncy ball is in my hand. I bounce it off the floor, which hits the wall. Then bounces back to me. Earlier events keep playing in my mind. Just seeing Loki again has brought up feelings. Feelings that have been buried deep for a while now. I probably should've known that those feelings were going to be brought up. It's all because of seeing and being close to Loki. After a few more bounces I change into pajamas and climb into bed. The second my head hits the pillow I'm asleep.
-~-~-~
I wake to see a clear blue sky. I'm laying in a grassy field. A stream is flowing next to me. It's going down towards my feet. I notice I'm barefoot. How did I get here? This must be a dream. I look around. A waterfall is behind me. A few feet on my right is a gazebo. I get up and walk over there. My apparel is different as well. I'm wearing a light blue, skin tight shirt. The sleeves are snug wrapped around my arms down to my wrists. My pants are loose, and solid black. The grass is soft under my feet. I enter the gazebo facing the waterfall. I rest my hands on the bar infront of me. I stand there watching the waterfall for a few seconds. From behind someone comes up and places his hands on mine. They're cold. It's Loki. He presses his body against me and snuggles his head in my neck. Following that he slips his fingers between mine. Which I don't mind.
"I love you," Loki mumbles onto my neck.
I turn around to face him. He looks so peaceful. I can stay here forever.
"I love you too," I say.
Loki wraps his arms around me. I wrap my arms around his neck. He pulls me close. I just let my body mold with his. With his hand he strokes my back. I lean my head back to stare at him. He's looking off in the distance. He blinks before turning his head and staring at me. We stare into each others eyes. I slowly lean in closer to him. He does the same. Our lips are a centimeter apart.
"I never want this dream to end," Loki says.
I wake in my bed. Well it was a dream... I don't know what I'm going to do now. My feelings for Loki have been brought back up. I'm going to want him more than ever now. If only we weren't on different sides. Then we could really be together. Instead our relationship can't happen. He's bad and I'm good. That doesn't change my feelings for him though. Sure, it's dissapointing that he still wants to take over earth. I still love him for who he is, not for what he wants to do.
